| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Due to injury, tankgrrl is no longer in the MP. Gagootz leaves boot camp in about a week, and unless we are in full out war they will not send anyone straight out of boot into combat. However, huge amounts of respect to anyone who does enlist and go fight for our nation. I know there are a few others in the millitary on the board, AFDude for one, and i hope all the best luck to them whatever should happen. Godspeed. Personally I consider the firemen/cops/EMT's in NYC and D.C. the real heroes at the moment. As for those of us in the military, all I can say here is we'll do what needs to be done. Thanks.  | ||||

I appreciate all the e-mails I've gotten from board members expressing concern/asking what they can do to help. Just pray for the families of those lost in the buildings, and the rescue workers. | Psychopath Registered: Jul. 01 | I know what you mean CRX... I live in an old building and there's a bomb shelter in the basement. There's actually a sign on the front of the building stating this. I had a friend come by about 2 weeks ago and he joked about how if we ever went to war he was coming here...we laughed about it then but it freaks me out now when I think about it... And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave. | ||||
