They also have all but said that bin Laden and his group are behind the attacks. The US has permission to use all NATO nations as fly-over zones and even bases. So here we go. The gov't keeps alot of things from us, the media doesn't know everything either. | Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | I laugh at this notion of nuclear reprisals from the Middle East. Do you guys have a clue as to how many Middle Eastern countries have nukes? Two. India and Pakistan. "Well, they can buy nukes" Great. And how are they gonna deploy them? Most of these countries barely have the capability to launch missles. And NONE of them have the capability right now to hit the US with a missle. They would have to smuggle the nuke into the country to deploy it. Could that happen? Sure. Anything could happen. But this notion were getting ourselves into a nuclear war, when the only nuclear powers in the world are on our side, is silly. Lets not generate paranoia. If you wanna live your life in fear weinie, go right ahead. But if we dont respond to this attack in a big way, it certainly wont stop them from doing something like it again. Will bombing Afghanistan or some other country open us up to retaliation? Doing NOTHING in the last eight years since the last time they bombed the World Trade Center certainly didnt do anything to stop the tradegy that happened on Tuesday. Its time for a new policy. Will it work? Who knows. But what we have been doing hasnt worked. Will more Americans die? Yes. That is the nature of war. And we are at war. | ||||

Other launch capable countries will not retaliate. None of them support terrorisim, China included. Terrorists may have field level nukes.
