I think Bush did an excellent job. I think he brought many people together with his empowering speech. He went out there and brought a tear to my eye. The United States is the best nation in the world and it was poweful to see Bush pull through like a real president. He prepared us for the casualties to come and got everything out of the way. I'm proud to have him as my president. God Bless America.

Ya gotta hand it to him, he did a nice job.
Now you have to wonder how quickly all the loser liberal politicians will jump off the bandwagon.

Great speech. I believe everyone would agree, with the exception of our Junior Senator. Hillary looked like she would rather be listening a SportsGuys marathon than be bothered with this minor matter

Together, we will define our time, not be defined by it.
Sounds like something Kennedy might have said.

This crisis has MADE him a president. Excellent speech.

On a darker note, did anyone see H. Clinton in the crowd? She looked BORED and like she wanted to be anywhere BUT there. Disgraceful.

I'm not a Republican by far but I feel safer with Bush in office than I would have with gore.

He sounded more than pissed, he sounded.... Presidential.

The speech stopped a bit short of where I would've liked it to be, but the presentation itself was very well executed.

As a Democrat, I must say GW did a great in comforting and leading the nation tonight.

To be honest, I was imagining we would see a "drunken George W." like Jim Bruer joked about almost a year ago

The World Trade Center may be in ruins, but the American spirit and unity will never be "rooned".

Our president tonite gave a speech that is a call to arms, as much as it is a call to justice, as much as it is a call to all good principles Americans value; a speech given by a president that is unassuming, grateful, steady, embracing, focused, inclusive, hopeful, inspiring, without being overwhelmingly self-conscious or self-important (that's a relief) about it; a president of the USA that I am very proud of...for all the right
reasons

What true leadership the President has bestowed upon our country. He has proven true courage and strength to our country and to the rest of the world. I believe George W. Bush has...is...and will continue to make his mark in history.

Thanks to the GOP, the CIA spent billions, and BILLIONS of our dollars, and NINE YEARS! Sniffing President Clinton's zipper, instead investigating the terrorists. While the GOP were trailing Clinton's zipper, the terrorists were moving in and making plans.

President Bush is a man with a mission now, a man who will not be deterred and who will do his best to bring all Americans into the struggle. The goals are high, but the push is on. And the man in the White House is leading the way.

Today I more proud than any other day to be an american and to have a president like George W Bush.

President Bush gave a great speech. He is our President, even though some think Gore should have been. George W. Bush is talking business. We want Osama and all his pals in our hands, and we want to destroy ALL terrorist groups in the world. This war is going to last a long time, possibly 10 years. It's not just going to be just against terrorists, we're going to bomb Iraq and other countries who harbour and support terrorism. World War III is coming, it's not just the U.S.A, dozens of other countries are on our side, this is a World War.

A very solid performance indeed. I'm proud of George W. Bush, and I hope his detractors saw his strength today.
I think there was a new speechwriter working here tonight because there was some very solid, very memorable, very quotable stuff in there. Plenty of good bites for the CNN's and MSNBC's to go over and over. Fez (the radio host) made a good point in that he wrapped it up using "I" instead of "We" like he bgean. Very forceful. I marked out quite a few times... :-)

And on Hilary Rodham C, I agree. I was disgusted. She clapped in a way that couldn't even be called polite applause, her eyes were wandering, and she just looked like a bitter, bitter woman. I hope everyone who voted for her saw that and realized it for what it was and is embarassed to have pulled that lever. All of us who said she didn't care a lick about New York were absolutely dead-on.

Hillary Rodham (Don't call me Clinton) is pissed because she knows that the Bush admiinstration and Gulianni is probably doing a better job with this than either her husband or Gore would. I honestly don't think that Billy C. would be able to handle a full scale war.

And yes, who wouldn't want to see a leader standing in front of a giant American flag telling us to get those sons of bitches but that probably wouldn't be apropo right now.

It's clear he dislikes "terra." Inspiring speach by the man, couldn't have asked for anything better.

Who needs the president to get mad and stay stuff that would be out of place? It was a very good speech and got right to the point, and if you were him why say something out of line? He along with alot of AMERICANS know what we are sending over there so in due time we will all get revenge.

P.S. I saw some pics of the fighter jets we are sending there and it just makes me even prouder to be an American and to have an army like this.
