| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Oct. 00 | Although I guess I've only been shaving for a few years at this point the one thing I've learned to avoid razor bumps is this: Use the Mach 3. With this thing you could probably rub the thing on your wrist (please don't try this) and you won't cut yourself As faggy as it may sound, the 'sensitive skin' jobs really do help if you're breaking out in bumps. I prefer a razor, as Fez was saying, a Mach 3 is about the best one your gonna find. I've never had a closer shave, and rarely cut myself with it. As for an electric, I have tried, but just can't seem to get a close enough shave. I do use a beard trimmer for the goat though, and it works out nicely, but it's no good for everday use.quote: Kid, ever try Magic Shave? | Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | i use electric for one reason only. when i was 14 and still had no reason to shave my face, I dislocated my knee and went in for surgery. i had to shave my knee. i fucked the shit out of it trying to shave it for the surgery. from that time on i'm afraid to shave my face with a razor. i just shave whatever the electric razor will get off and use a tweezer for any annoying remaining hairs...but i'm really to lazy to care all that much after the electric razor. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | I use Mach 3. I also use a product called Benza Shave that my doctor prescribed. I have the same problem as Kid Afrika. Razor bumps and bleeding after I shave. The Benza Shave makes shaving bearable. It also helps with ingrown hairs. Electric razors suck for the type of hair I have. Don't worry about the future.Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.
