I mean it's simply instilling in your kids right from wrong. Not that hard, I'm no saint (believe me) but I've done it. Can't afford photo shop | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I also agree that the media plays a large role in things, but again, if the parents were more active, i think they'd be able to tell their kids the deal. Unfortunately, young kids today are so programmed and influenced by the media, its almost as if they live their lives based on it. Today, TV and entertainment are taken way too seriously, and young childeren are way too impressionable to not have their parents be there to try and instill some basic morality. That kid, Kip Kinkel, killed 2 and wounded 25, in basically the same situation - wild random shooting spree. He got 111 years in prison without parole. The lawyers that are defending this new dipshit think they can have the judge ignore a CA mandate that says that for crimes such as murder and other serious things, a juvenile MUST be tried as an adult, as opposed to the way it used to be, the judge's decision. My question is - are they really so STUPID that they think letting the judge decide will work in their favor? The judge will try him as an adult anyway, as fucking well he should. This kid's going away and never coming back.  | ||||
