Has anyone else seen these things on the news? They are bombs the size of a Lincoln Navigator, and are the strongest bomb in the military next to the atomic bomb.

It's good to know what we're dropping on the Taliban troops.

The news is calling it a Daisycutter, but my Dad who dropped them in Vietnam and the Persian Gulf says it's called a cheeseburger.

I read about them in today's paper (I think). They have to drop them from an elevation of at least 6,000 feet because of the shockwave that these bombs produce. I just don't know what kind of damage they can do to a land that has been as ravaged and damaged as the Afghan outback has been over the years.

These things are brutal phycological mind f's. It's the closest fear caused by a bomb next to a nuke. These are the same bombs portrayed in the movie Outbreak. In fact the Pentagon footage released to the press was the same footage used in the movie.

You would think a bomb that horrific would not have such a gay sounding name.



I know the task of satisfying the hotties is monumentous, but I am up to the task!

Aren't these also called simply....fuel bombs? Are they the same thing? If so, then yes, they are horriffic and second only to the atomic bomb.

I saw the clip of what this bomb does on NBC this morning.. on it's explosion, you can see the shockwave..

Daisy cutters are also known as fuel air explosives.
The soviets used them type of bombs over villages and stuff during the first afghanistan war.
Not only do they incinerate everything in their path, it can crush anything because of the pressure it emits, and sucks up all the oxygen in the area.
Now that's fucking mean.
