| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01  | Yes, I am EXACTLY where I thought I'd be, and in the dream mode I thought. I am in the United States Marine Corps, during a time of "conflict/war" whatever, training to kill people and learning a trait (Electrical Engineering). I hope we commit more ground troops and go in there becasue I'm pretty much guarenteed deployment to Afganistan if war rages. But for the time being I'll just work the Pimphand down on base here in North Carolina. Only sad thing is that the local town blows monkey ass. Good thing I'll be home for the holidays to get some NY women!! :-) See yall later and I will check in as often as possible. "Born to fight, Trained to kill, Ready to Die, But never will!!!" I still have a little over a year left of my undergraduate degree, and I can't decide what my real passion in life is. When I was younger, I used to think that by the time I was 23 I would be married with my first kid on the way, and now that I am almost 23, I know just how wrong that would be at this time in my life. I think my only real upset is my lack of a degree, but at least that is something that I am working on.  i can't believe my dream is over i woke up this morning with nothing but light in my eyes now i'm one with the fools of love Bundle of cuteness?? | Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | John Lennon said it best, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans" I'm not where I thought i'd be, but i'm damn close. My career is better than I could have imagined money-wise but i'm not satisfied with the work that i'm doing. Thankfully the money that i've been able to save is going to allow me to have the freedom to take some time and find work that will truly make me spring out of bed every morning and can't wait to get to. I've been lucky enough to see alot of the world in a short amount of time i've been here and experience ups and downs I never could have predicted. Someone already said it but its true, the journey IS the destination and I look forward to where the rest of the journey takes me. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jul. 01 | Well, I know when I was 7 and it was December I was looking foward to sitting on an old man's lap. Nothing's really changed, has it? Honestly though, at this moment, I can say I'm satisfied. I have someone I'm crazy about ((and the feeling is mutual)), I've learned that my job isn't so bad now that my evil manager hates me ((he doesn't talk to me, so this is good)), and I've been getting a lot of my life back on track. I know it won't be possible to keep things like this for the next 10 years, but at least I can say I recognized and enjoyed it while I had it. ~*~ quote: I'm not from NY quote: Damnit, he was on to me.
