| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00  | Grumpy's fear thread inspired me to post this topic. Does anyone believe that they have had a past life? Have you gone to a specialist? If so what was it all about and who were you? The reason I am posting this is because I have heard that fears in your current life are directly linked to things that happened to you in a past life, I have also heard that memories you have that never happened to you, or that you can't explain can be linked to a past life as well. I have had a recurring dream/memory where I am being chased and when the person chasing me catches up, he stabs me, repeatedly. I have never woken up scared, and I can actually feel the knife as it's happening. It definatley takes place in another time, I would say mid 1800's looking at the clothing, and surroundings. Is it a memory of a past life, or just my subconscious mind getting freaky? I dont know how true that is, but I can say that my dream/memories are much MORE than a dream, its too real ,(Smells, feelings, sounds) I can problably say I know what it feels like to be stabbed...... My parents named me after him, and through the years I have been told by family members that i look like him(lets hear the wiseass jokes but from the nose up him and I are identical except for the hair), act like him, and now I am going to school for what he was dreaming of doing(he was only 45 when he was killed) So yes i believe I had a past life, it was my grandfather's. And in that case i guess i believe in reincarnation as well.  I know it's wrong and it makes you nauseous. But I'm not suspicious, I'm cautious. And you know I want to love and trust you. But it's really a lot to try and adjust to. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | I went to a woman named Judy in Hollywood Florida (where I used to live) to give me a reading on my past. It seems in one of my past lives I was the wife of an American Indian Tribe leader. We had 13 children. In a plot to take over I turned the tribe against him. He was hung and beatened to death. In another, she described the World War II era and how my husband was killed in battled. Leaving me a widow at 24 with 1 child. She also said I would meet this person again during this lifetime and it would be a matter of circumstance that kept us apart and that it will be this way for eternity. Never to re-live that love again. In my opinion, who knows and who cares. We are here now, for the moment. Does the possibilty of a previous life even matter in this one? I believe this to be true because I have seen too many parallels in this lifetime. I also sense I was someone from the Rennaissance/medieval era.  | ||||

I was born in the vicinity of 1950, and lived through the whole rock n roll revelution. I had to stay at home during woodstock (and I hold a fucking grudge to this very day) but I was able to see Hendrix set his guitar on fire at the Montaray Pop Festival.
