Hey everyone! Its been a while since i've been here do to computer problems, but thats another story for another time.

I just joined Sigma Pi and I was wondering how many people on the board are frat and sorority members.

I'm a member of Alpha Gamma Rho, Alpha Zeta Chapter in Manhattan, KS - Kansas State University. It's an agricultural frat. I'd say our most famous frat brother is Orville Redenbacher - the popcorn guy. I started off my college education wanting to be a vet, then changed to biology. Ended up in pharmaceutical research.

Hey Fuck Nuts, I figured I would introduce how different members of fraternities are accross the country and what a perceptions of them are. I know that there are plenty of Dumb-jock, train-riding, gang/date-raping ATO chapters out there. My chapter, for one, is not one of those stereotypes. AEPi, well hell, let's put it this way: I always laugh when I hear about someone not being able to join a fraternity because they are Jewish. A requirement in the 50's and I guess this is common at some old schools out there. Where I went, you couldn't join a (well, not the high profile) fraternity UNLESS you were Jewish. AEPi had severe pressure on them to segregate their chapter. They responded with a token (Eastern) Indian member.

So, what was AEPi's rep at you school? Stoners? Jocks? Daddy's Boys? Partier? Studeous? Slobs? Horn-dogs? Geeks? Nerds? Locals? White Trash? There is a WIDE range of personalities that a group of men can take on. It's just that AEPi where I went had, to me, a bad one.

Pi Lambda Phi over here...Sloatsburgh will be happy to know that we were the first non-discriminatory/non-sectarian fraternity. Our chapter was the most diverse group on campus.
