| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70  | Now I had a heated argument with a friend at work over this. Why in the blue fuckin hell is prostitution illegal? Now don't become a fuckin holy roller on me, especially with the lot of whores around here. Think of it in todays terms, fuck religion and the law and ancient belief. Don't quote me scriptures or the ten commandments or that fuckin mind control book called the Bible. Why is it illegal? The spread of disease? Countries that permit prostitution and provide regulation (such as Singapore and most European nations) has much less infectious disease than in the US. Disease doesn't seem to arise simply from casual sex. It seems to arise when the population is ignorant about preventing its spread. That's almost as groovy as our punishment laws, people bitched and moaned when that preppy fuck got caned by the gooks. yet they have 4 times the population of the USA and a 1/4 of our crime rate. We may be the worlds super power but doesn't make us always right. This stupid fucker says, well you gotta keep it away from schools.....WHAT?!!?. Dude that excuse works for crack not pussy. What is the big bad lady gonna force her pussy on some 5 year old during recess? I know not many people deal with pro's but they don't give free tastes like drug dealers do, if anything is learned in life, pussy ain't free. The biggest opposition to prostitution is normal women. If men didn't have to horse around with all the self-delusion, cockteasing, asskissing, and financial expense that women demand, and could just get sex with financial expense only, no one would marry normal women. No one would even date them. Look I know that love is different but not everyone wants a relationship and just wanna fuck, look it happens to all of us. I am not speaking for myself personally here I am just playing devils advocate on several positions, to give your mind a boost. Now think about it, legalize it, and then tax it. The tobacco industry will take a backseat (no pun) to this fuckin industry. Have mandatory testing, protection the whole nine yards. It's not drugs, it's a victimless crime, it's a womans body let her do it if she wants. What's different between an athelete who makes money with his body and natural ability and a prostitute? One way or another women are coerced into prostitution, the argument goes--sometimes physically, often psychologically, and if nothing else out of economic necessity. The government took it over for unpaid taxes, and keep it running. For all I know, they may still own it. It should be legal, however no politician is going to want to champion the cause for prostitution. Then again, I'm a Libertarian. I think almost everything should be legal. | ||||

Now this can last 1 hour to 99 years depending on whether a party decides to cancel it. Throughout the Middle Ages the Catholic Church profited from Prostitution. The only reason they started cracking down was widespread syphillis. And I think the Mustang Ranch is closed. I think it was really in bad conditition. My opinion just legalize it. Testing for diseases, not being murdered or taken advantage of by pimps. Besides, think of all the money the state could make on state taxing the profession?
