| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | I don't know what made me think of this, maybe I'm watching too much History Channel: Do you think that back when they used the guillotine to execute people in France, the executioner would strap the condemned man in place, raise the blade, and then just wait there for a while. I can imagine him doing this, all the people in the crowd leaning forward slightly, just anticipating the final action. They all know what will happen, but it's just on the edge of occuring. They might even think for a second that it won't happen, but most know that it is only a matter of time I also wonder what goes through the condemned's head as he just lays there, waiting, knowing what is inevitable, but just trying sit there and wait. Sorry to go off on a tangent like that...what were we talking about again?  If hate were people I'd be China | ||||
