| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | I don't like how you can no longer view the videos or listen to the music through Morpheus, but that it opens another program. I don't know if I can still preview downloads before they are completed becuase it's impossible to connect to anyone, and my downloads no longer work. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I think it totally sucks. I can't figure out how any of it works. First off, there is no way to search specifically for audio or video. Second, I start a download and then all of a sudden it disappears in my download box. At this point, I'm not sure if it's still looking for someone to download it from or if the transfer completely failed. Please Morpheus, go back to the old software and keep some of the good features in this new one like determining the lowest rate allowed to upload from you.

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I d/l'ed it, and tried it. Took absolutely forever to connect to anyone, finally got a porn vid to d/l. Took 25 minutes for a 5 meg file - ponderous. Might as well use shitty Limewire. I'll stick to Grokster - the interface is EXACTLY like Morpheus, just somewhat less people connected (but I'll bet that changes very soon). It comes with spyware, but theres a way to easily disable it all. You can reach me through AIM or email. Don't be shy, drop a line and say Hi!

When you put the cursor over a video file using the old Morpheus, it would give you a full description of the movie. Now you get nothing. Also, there is no column that tells you how long the video is anymore or what the estimated download time is. This is fucking bullshit!

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | 1: for disappearing downloads, put a check next to the "failed" box under the download portion of the transfer screen 2: it says plain as day what type of file your search result is under the, get this, "Type" header for your search results. click on the header and it's sorted by file type. would it be nice to narrow the search down, sure, but at least it is nowhere is as chaotic as Bearshare was/is 3: as for the speed, more hosts means potentially quicker download. please not that I did say potentially. It really is dependent on the connection of said hosts. 4: you don't need a user name and password anymore. that is one less stupid step you have to go through. 5: the only thing I don't like is the lack of network information...i.e how many users and how much shit is being shared. Overall, I like it. I can always Audiogalaxy as my backup MP3 search site.  I'd rather drink a beer than be father of the year! | ||||
