The problem with the pics is that there are so many lights around that when you take pictures, the beams get lost and the glare from the rest of the lights distorts it. Ah well onto the pic  Sometimes we can choose the path we follow. Sometimes our choices are made for us. And sometimes we have no choice at all. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | saw it tonight, fuckin unbelievable...its just a sight i can stare in awe of for hours. Saw them from the turnpike and ent down to a spot(global trucking for any bayonneites) where you could see it from my town. I'm definitely going to take pics and maybe some video one day, ya know something to show the grandkids. Faceman, that pic looks like its taken from LSP, is it? | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I caught it on my way home tonight... took 78 all the way to the Holland Tunnel instead of 1 and 9 just so I could get a better view. I could see the lights from around Irvington, but it didn't really hit me until I got to the turnpike... At one point, the entire skyline just emerged from the road ahead of me. I had the statue of Liberty to my right, the Empire State topped with red, white, and blue on my left... and the lights dead ahead. The skyline almost looked complete again... the hole that's been missing for months looked like it was filled in by a ghost, but it was there. I almost drove off the road... I was in awe. Tomorrow night I wanna head over to the park right along the river and see if I can snap some pics. man... I wish I could have gotten pics of what I saw while driving. It was amazing. It really hit home.

You figure something like this would be all over the press, but for the life of me, I couldn't find anything. **edit I just realized, that's also an "artists rendering" aren't there any actual pictures of this thing?
