I know Ikeaboy will appreciate this, they finally came up with a title for the new Bond movie.

LONDON (Reuters) - He's come "From Russia with Love," decided "The World is Not Enough," but in his 20th film James Bond, the world's greatest spy, is promising to "Die Another Day."

Movie producers on Tuesday ended months of speculation among 007 devotees about the new film's name.

"'Die Another Day' carries on the tradition of the Ian Fleming stories and reflects the excitement and mystery of our latest script," producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions said in a statement.

The film, which began shooting in January, has had fans of the British secret agent series on tenterhooks.

One dedicated Web site eagerly reported last year that it had details of the new movie which it claimed would be called "Final Assignment" -- only to discover the "leaked" script had been penned by an over-imaginative fan.

"Die Another Day," which sees Pierce Brosnan as Bond for the fourth time and also stars actress Halle Berry, will be released in Britain and the United States on November 22.

I am a diehard Bond fan. I've got all the movies, and read most of the books.

They're great simple guy movies with working formulas....

Cool hero, sweet gadgets, hot chicks, lots of action.

Here's another Bond fan checking in...

It's about time they came up with a title. Now if they can just settle on one for Austin Powers 3, I can sleep a lot better.

I just hope this one is good, TWINE seemd a little too campy for me. Denise Richards is hot, but she just couldn't pull off being a nuclear scientist.

This week's quote : Hope in the face of our human distress helps us to understand the turbulence deep inside that takes hold of our lives - Shame and disgrace over mental unrest keeps us from saving those we love - The grace within our hearts and the sorrow in our souls - Deception of fame - Vengeance of war - Lives torn apart - Losing oneself - Spiraling down - Feeling the walls closing in - A journey to find the answers inside our illusive mind...

And just what did you expect to find here? Something witty??

Denise Richards needs to pull off her clothes and shake her boobies, much like she did in Wild Things.

Wild Things.........sigh.....such a great piece of work.

It was kinda funny how the people who own the James Bond franchises had a problem with the first name for the new Austin Powers movie. In case you don't know, it was supposed to be called "Goldmember", but the Bond people thought it was too much of a play on "Goldfinger". Part of the filming had already been done around this name, and I suppose some revamping had to take place.

It rubs the lotion on its skin. It does this whenever it's told.

Use all your well-learned politesse, or I'll lay your soul to waste.

I thought TWINE was great, the only drawback was Denise Richards casting in that role. Other than that, the movie was probably the best Bond film since The Spy Who Loved Me.

Pierce is definitely the most worthy successor to Connery's portrayal of the character.

Oh, but Froy, you are no 'simple guy', you are a millionaire entreprenuer in the making. Holding onto your simple guy persona will only hold you back in your future endeavors.

Time to burn that brige, me lad. ;)

I think it all started with the Declaration of Independence -- the idea that we had the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That pursuit is what took America from the revolution to the computer age in 200 years. But the progress has come at a price. The obvious being the people that were exploited to make it possible; the not so obvious being us, the first group of people that were given no obvious frontiers to conquer. We hear stories that about the good old days that don't seem to apply anymore. It's a generation gap that leaves us without role models. But the bright side is that without role models, there are no roles. Maybe that's what the 60s were all about -- getting rid of the roles. But what do we replace them with? Without any guidance, what do we replace them with? Without any guidance, the choices become overwhelming. Sometimes it just makes everything feel hopeless. So we destroy our bodies in the search of an ideal. Try to salvage relationships that don't work. We feel we must do something, instead of doing something that we feel. It is the prison of self-imposed momentum, and the sad part is that we get used to it. It reminds me of a song I heard the other day. It's called "The Going Nowhere Fast." But the people I have met here have shown me another side of Nowhere. They've pointed out the beautiful irony that stagnation makes it easy to stop and smell the roses, if we just let it. What would we be if we had nothing to rebel against? Well we could finally be ourselves, the first group of people who stopped looking for the answers long enough to appreciate the questions. And all we have to do is to make our own Declaration of Independence. We can embrace the right to life and liberty by simply realizing that happiness exists -- not to pursue, but to accept. After that the only challenge would be to make sure with the rest of our lives that we weren't just another fad. I don't know, it's an idea. What do you think?

Where is it written that a man cannot be both rich and simple in tastes?

Sorry, I don't carry around a bibliography around with me as you do to qualify every word that I say or type.

However, I believe it was in the November 12th 1973 edition of Reader's Digest Quotable Quotes section.
