Along with that, the guy takes a fucking break every other weekend. YOU'RE THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD BUMFUCK, HOW ABOUT SOME POLICY MEETINGS. He's a goddamn joke. The economy isn't Bush's fault...The economy started going south while Clinton was in office. Press conferences were held daily at 4:30 to give the appearance that he was working the full day. When this came out during the campain, nobody wanted to hear it, thinking it was just a Gore smear tactic. Oh and look at this, 500 posts! I think I'll start a 500 post thread to celebrate. If anyone watched his State to Congress speech he talks endlessly about increasing spending to area after area while cutting taxes which is impossible and with the economy crashing around us this is going to put us in an even worse situation than we would have been. He talks so much about morals, more money towards teaching values which just seems like such a waste. Need I go into the Faith-Based Charities uniting Church and State. This is a guy so deeply in the pockets of the oil companies he refuses to believe there is a problem. Now I'm not a bleeding heart, "Save the earth," person but at least I am willing to accept the possibility that you know what, we might have a problem. Clinton, was he a workaholic? Debatable but Bush has been to Camp David 4 times in his first hundred days. Clinton allegedly didn't go till his second term. And at least Clinton didn't frighten people. And yes, I predict before the four years are up we will be at war. And let me say I was no big fan of Gore either but as it looks now, we're riding to hell on the express line.  | ||||

The tax cut undoes what Clinton did, which is distribute the tax base where the money is. Under Bush, we middle class slobs will be paying all the bills again. And I don't recall anyone begging for "Tax relief" like GW says we did...maybe because I'm not wealthy enough to join the same country clubs... And any world leader who publicly states that he wants to make China his enemy should have his effffing head examined...I kinda like peace and prosparity... And, although I never served in the Armed Forces, I hold them in the highest regard. I don't recall GW ever serving, except on the efffing tennis courts. At least Gore visited Viet Nam in wartime. My opinion.You may or may not agree with it, but that is what this country is all about.If you don't want to read my diatribe, just scroll on down the page. I voted for Bush, and I do not regret it for a second. Especially when the other candidate was Al Gore, a true socialist at heart. For those of you who voted for this asshole, that is fine, it is your right to vote for whoever you want to, but I can't believe you're proud of it. I think that GW has been doing a great job so far. Of course I am biased, but he also has a higher approval rating than either Clinton or his father did at this same point in their own terms. It is a shame that the economy is taking a hit at the moment and probably won't improve for at least a year or two, and it is too bad that GW will take the brunt of the blame for this. Because any dip in the economy automatically gets blamed on whoever is in office. Although during the full eight years of the Clinton administration they did shit for the economy. Also, who gives a shit how many days GW is spending at Camp David? He has already done more in his first few months as president than Clinton did in his first year. Besides, Clinton had no reason to leave the White House to go to Camp David when he had interns sucking his dick right in the Oval Office. At least GW is trying to get a tax cut for all of us. What is so wrong with that? It is our money!The government took too much of it and now has a surplus. We should be the first ones to get some of it back, even if it is just a drop in the bucket. Do you think if that condescending,socialist, asshole of a man, Al Gore was in the Whitehouse, his first priority would be to give some of our hard earned money back to us? Of course not! Democrats don't want to give up spending, and they don't want to give up their power. And their power is accumulated with the tax dollars that they redistribute. A tax cut is a threat to the very core and the very essence of their power structure and that's why they don't like it. Why don't people realize this? Also a majority of the people in this country think that GW Bush was elected legitimately. Just in case you never heard. Remember those controversial counties that democrats said were never counted? When they finally were recounted, again and again, George W. Bush came out with even more votes Than originally thought. This makes the whole Florida Supreme court decision justified. Even without that ruling, GW won Florida, and therefore, won the election fair and square. That is why the subject of these counties hasn't been brought up in the liberal press in months. It is true that Gore won more of the popular vote, but if you break it down by county, Bush won 2,434 counties to Gore's 677. In other words, Gore won the votes in some of the more populated areas.That is why we choose our president by the Electoral College. So that a presidential election isn't won by a candidate winning a few of the more populated cities and the majority of the country is more fairly represented. It is amazing how so many people just don't understand this simple concept. As for comparing GW Bush with Clinton, all i have to say is that it is nice to have a President in the White House that defends the Constitution and governs by the rule of law, instead of basing his policies on what is the best way to get re-elected or by making decisions by looking at the polls. For those of you that are scared shitless that we might go to war. What the hell is wrong with that. If it has to be done, we should do it. That is what the military is for. To defend our national interest. To kill people and destroy things. That is their job! Not to police the whole world or to become only peacekeepers and relief workers for the U.N.. Besides, the last time Clinton sent our troops into action was only to divert attention away from the troubles he was having with the whole Monica situation. Even though GW has his faults, Clinton is a proven liar, perjurer, and philanderer. These are not just my opinions or alleged stories. These are facts. Anyway, I can go on for days here. But I'll finally end my rant. Sorry about turning this board into a political forum, but I didn't start this thread, and I warned you at the beginning of this post that it was going to be a diatribe of sorts. Just thought I'd throw in my two cents. Or, now that I look at how long winded this was, more like my ten dollars worth. Sorry about that, but I felt some things needed to be said. Peace.
