That guy on the FU line today was correct when he said "Paddy" or "Patty" is really a derogetory name for the Irish. It started circa 1920 after the Initial first wave of both Irish and Italian immigrants, due to the large number of immigrants that started ethnic neighborhoods in Old NYC. Thanks anyway though. Ireland has had alot of problems, namely a civil war that has been going on for 85 years now, and i think I could do without the sterotypes. Another little factoid: even thought the Irish are branded as All Alcoholics, there are Higher Alcoholism rates in England, France, and Italy. Sorry, If I'm pissing anyone off.
