| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00  | Ok everyone I can not believe this is being made but there is a new Friday the 13th sequel being made read this synopsis I thought things had gotten out of hand before but this is just out there. Jason X Release Date: August 17th, 2001 (previously mentioned as a possible April, 2001 release, when there's a "Friday the 13th" but 8/17/01 is confirmed) Title Note: This movie may have a subtitle of something like Friday the 13th: Part 10. Premise: In the year 2455, long after humanity has abandoned Earth as a lifeless planet, an expedition of archaelogical students discovers a research facility where two people are cryogenically frozen: one a young woman, the other a large male in a strange mask. The ice begins to thaw, and so the students bring the bodies back to their spaceship, having no idea what they just unleashed on the future... and of course, on themselves: Jason. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | I've been reading about this. It actually has some promise as a "get drunk with your friends and bust on it" kind of movie. Much more classic horror than all the "teen slasher" crap thats been out lately. And it knows how to make fun of itself. One scene I heard about, some people from the ship and the girl who was accidently frozen with Jason are running through the ship. They lock a hatch, but Jason breaks it open and climbs through carrying his trusty machete. One of the crew screams "What the hell is that?!?!" The girl turns to her and yells "It's Jason Fucking Vorhease!" Oh yeah, and they're also going to make "Freddy vs. Jason" next year. Confirmed by Robert England himself. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | I've known about Jason X/Jason in Space for like 2 years and I agree that it might be a good drunk movie. I believe that David Croenberg is the first death and it's supposed to be one hell of a death scene. As for Freddy Vs. Jason, who HASN'T heard rumors of this one for going on like 10 years. It's one of those Urban Legends that is actually true. I believe they just need a good enough script (!!) in order to go into production.  | ||||

But if someone wants to spend their money on it, I'll welcome it. I could spare $10 for a ticket or just wait for it to come on tape 3 days after it's opening. :) that old gag. | ||||

The event will be hosted at the luxurious "West Coast Video" on Central Ave. Where they will have real cardboard props of Jason, and real cheap plastic hockey masks to give away... I wonder if the main actor/actress in the movie will be back in time to re-stock the rental shelves. If I go to this thing they better not charge me a Godamn late fee! "Kyle, I'm just a stupid piece of crap..." Just some nuggets (with corn) of wisdom from the bottom of the Jersey City Sewer Department  | ||||
