The Naked City (1948), The French Connection, Jaws, His Girl Friday (Cary Grant), Most John Wayne Films (some of the 70's ones suuuucked)and Gettysburg. Also "The Longest Day". The D-Day beach scene from Saving Private Ryan was Spielburg's tribute to that films D-day scene.

because it sucked. The book was great. Read It.
One of my favorite movies is Clerks and I also enjoyed Steel Magnolias. I cried when Julia Roberts died.
