I was reading some of the old experiences you were going through. So we all have are favorite bits from O&A. The mother in law bit is my current fave... What are some of your favorite moments from the board. Things about this place that stick out in your mind... Some things that come to mind is Italian Princess' first few posts...we kind of did Dice back and forth. It was right after the day they said he sounded like a born again christian. The first board conflict with always 420...a week or so of some of the first real arguments from the board... Ant's first post...Ricks first about Imus going on the show. "AH GHEEG GEEG....YER OVAH THEAH...BUT IM STILL OVAH HEAH...OOOOOOOOOOO!!" - Miss ya IP... What are some of your favorite moments from the board...  | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Aug. 00 | gee this is a tough one i guess ill say a whole shit load of mine of course my first post was a riot, IP yelled at me a lot, i thank her for not banning me i got here and i saw that jeffk was banned again i had most oif my fondest memories in voice chat late nights though the bang party chat thread was interesting i remember when sean really stuck it into a few people me trying to belive i didnt write that poem i remember the first time ant posted and no one belived it was him, and when he did say it on the air everyone started kissing his ass i remember my first sig pic i remember when it took hours for someone even to look at your post i remember when off topic first was in effect when the board went down for the first time and we all paniced going to my first board party and having a fucking great time if u wanted to see opak, just look for the buzz light year i remember getting very mad at sean for a few things he said about bnakedlady and fingerbang i remember going to bnakedlady's party and meeting the most wonderful guy and now...i have a great bunch of friends who i will have forever i could bore you with more but ill stop WHATEVER BEN -----------------------------------------------------------------  THESKANKWHOHANGSUPTHEPHONE I'M ON THE ISLAND OF MISFIT TOYS! Some of my more memorable ones have involved CBH, That guy could crack me up.Others that come to mind would be. Buy any lottery tickets lately Opak? The word of the day war between Wnews girl and That "other" person ;) Fucking with KidA sunday mornings.Cause I knew he was the only other nutcase that was reading the board that early in the morning.I'd leave him a post somewhere on the board "Boo" and that was it. LOL Hmmm, I remember so many threads and posts that were great. I guess what really stands out off the top of my head is the first slacking thread, where I got my sixth strike. I also found myself drawn like a moth to the flame to JeffK's posts, and holy shit, there are so many others. "We have an inbound Opak..." That was fucking great! | O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00 | well i remember a lot from the old board actually...i remember the night anthony joined us in voice chat. we all had a great load of fun that night. it was cool to just see him hanging with his fans. not many people i know would do that. it was good to have him say things that couldnt be dumped out of and mention the names of other NY jocks and the words motherfuckers in the same sentence:) i remember ants first couple of posts and his constant trying to explain to everyone that YES, I AM ANTHONY, I AM ANTHONY, ITS ME YOU TOOLS. that was truly a classic thing. what was even funnier was when you would sign in about 2 months later and some guy would bring it to the top saying, thats not really anthony you dipshits. i remember the obligatory great threads, ground control(now i may be wrong here, but im not sre if howie actually started the 1st ground control. if my memory serves me i do think it was a mod who had a little too much nyquil, and i think you know you are, i may be wrong tho) a day in the life which may have been our first, TOTAL fucking cluster fuck. that shit got out of control real fast, but the dialogue was something special. i remember gooch's introduction to the board and his fight with EVERY mod. and i remember his first sig pic, i wont ruin it for everyone who thinks he is the sig pic god, all i will say is, "GOOCH WUZ HERE" i remember in no particular order: the joker and harley quinn, catwoman(my fav sig pic of all time), dolphins, gladiators, late night chats, DILLON, that tool Whales Eye and the other tools Motley Crue, Ah Na Na and his driver Cherry Chesterfield, changing your own status(thank god they changed that, i love being asked for status changes;)), sean's first manifesto against PR and D-D-D-Darx, the 808 post(first great flaming i can remember on the board), wav files, audio clips in voice chat, Vin actually posting;), wg and her daddy lines, but most of all i remember good friends who have left us:IP, UPU, skutt, Whip this out, Howie you are all missed:) great topic opak, it brought back a lot of good memories :) but as they say, the best is yet to come:)  You Must Chill, You Must Chill | ||||

Anthony's question after the show the day they did the Future Opie and Present/Past Anthony bit during the 9-hour shifts... Ant got really confused by how Opie was explaining the timeline and asked us. turned into a total clusterfuck, but hilarious nonetheless  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Since i've only been back in new york since july 2000,i missed out on what sounds like a ton of great stuff.I particularly wish i had been around during the "voice chat" era.My fondest memory of the board doesn't involve a particular thread.It was the first time someone replied to me like i was a full fledged member of the board,like i was becoming accepted as a regular.Granted,i havent had another reply like that since!I hope to get out to some board functions and meet some of you eventually,because i feel like you've become my extended circle of friends. Even though no one ever talks to me:) VEOWEB AND GEOCITIES HATE ME God loves you.it's everyone else that thinks you're an asshole. Posting regularly,yet still a lowly lurker.
