Even the luckiest person in the world has had to deal with adversity at some point in their life. If you feel like your current problem is enough to die for, try to imagine living in Somalia, or some other third world country. ================================================ Currently, many of us feel like there is not much to live for, but I can't think of much I'm willing to die for. Fuck it, as bad as it gets, it can always get better. I just don't believe in patronizing people who make such idle threats. If you really wanted to commit suicide, you'd be dead. No note, no cries, just dead. You care what people think, that's why you are talking about it. Get over yourself, it's not that bad. Again I will say, everyone (as far as I know) that comes to this board has a home, a computer, and 3 meals a day, and that is nothing to be mad at. And, if you are online, and hungry, maybe you should re-think your priorities.

But it is a selfish fuckin thing to do. You aren't hurting yourself but your family. Plus if you really wanted to do it you would do it trust me i know. People who talk about it are crying out for help. If you wanna talk to someone then talk but don't say you are going to nor attempted suicide cause i will only help kick the chair out you selfish prick. This board is full of pricks and jerks and douchebags and tools and a-holes, but we're all here for you. :) Look, there's a reason that all of us ended up here. We all share some of the same personality traits-- morbid humour, sarcasm, and, in this case, depression and violence.... Why am I not surprised.... *sigh* The point is, we're all fucked up, man. That's what makes us a family. Take small comfort in the fact that, no matter how many people here might bash you for disagreeing with you, when it gets serious, life or death, we are here. This is an open forum, and you can say just about whatever you want. You came here for a reason, and said what you said for a reason. You obviously are craving something... Attention, compassion, understanding, something that you're not getting, something that you need so badly that you're willing to risk coming to us bastards for it. Just remember that most of us have been in similar situations and that there will always be someone here for you to talk to. Seriously, if you wanna bitch e-mail or IM me. I't was selfish for me to attempt suicide...and i never gave a thought to my family when attempting, although the thoughs of my family kept me from doing it many more times. As for the not really wanting to do it. I really did, and as for getting a gun, i have insufficant connections to get one. I am not upper-middle class, i'm am rather lower-middle. I'm not impoverished, well, not yet anyways. Those attempts were really a long time ago anyway. i just wanted to see if having some rather disturbing thoughts were ok, just as long as they remain thoughts, nothging more. and from what i've read i'm gonna take the answer of yes. i just wanted to make sure i wasn't Super-psychotic wonder boy. There's no shame in getting help if you need it. Good luck.  Although most of the general public has been led to believe Mr. Brownstone is about some of the band members' heroin addictions (mainly from the disinformation provided by the band in order to garner street cred), the song is actually about Mr. Frank Brownstone, the head instructor at the Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Los Angeles. In the late 80s, Rose was a student of Brownstone's (who do you think taught Rose his snakelike hip-swiveling?). Apparently, Rose did not pay Brownstone for the lessons. This song is about Brownstone's constant, yet futile, attempts at reimbursement. | ||||

I've lived with my father who is bi-polar and I've seen the symptoms and you need help.And I have been down that road before. Just because you're not starving and you have a roof over your head does not mean that you can't have psychological problems. My dad never had to worry about money or his job or his family, but he's still fucked in the head. Its a chemical imbalance that he can't control. Thats what alot of people don't realize. Alot of times suicide attempts are overlooked because "you have no right to be depressed". But what you may not realize is that it can be something you have no control of and you can't cure it on your own. Prescription drugs help, and you really should consider talking to someone that can help you with this and can recommend a prescription that is right for you. Not everybody should be saved. And who are we to force our will upon them? I mean, isn't that one of the joys about being a human? Freedom of choice? Now, it's not all bad.
