Tats are a reflection of what people feel strongly about or like alot. Your friend should decide what he's into, what he likes and then go for it. Corpse has a good point. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | All the men in my Family have the same tattoo. It is a large Celtic cross, made of stone, covered in vines. In the center is our ancestral Family Crest, with a Irish flag and a shamrock on the outsides of the cross. It is a big peice, usually done in 2 sessions. I am getting mine next month, along with my older brother. Weird how this is one of the only traditions we have in our family. I checked out the shop before I decided on the dog. I got the Reddog tat because I like bulldogs, the beer, and it is unique. You have to know what you want and feel comfortable with it. TATS RULE! If your friend has somebody that can create a drawing he likes, you can take that to a tattoo palor and see what they will do for you. But get ready to pay a little more. Here are some other quick tips. 1. Never and I mean ever, go to a Tattoo palor that is offering free or discounted tattoos, it is always a person in training and the quality is usually poor. 2. Ask friends whose tats you like where they got theirs, references are always the best way to go 3.take your time to decide, and if you chose something you like, have the artist place the stencil (which is just blue dye)where you want it and try it for a day or two. some artists may charge you for it or ask for a deposit to cover their effort Good luck Remember don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things | ||||

I think Snakebite gave some interesting and helpful tips.If you can get someone you are close to that can draw have them create something you want. that way it was made especially for you, with a personal "touch".
