He admitted to doing it, yet he gets a stay of execution for another month becuase there were some lost documents that were mysteriously found.He admitted he did it, so lets just kill the fucker. He murdered almost 200 innocent people and he flat out said that he was the main person who set the whole thing up.. Here is some of the report... WASHINGTON (CNN) -- U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft Friday delayed the execution of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh for one month, until June 11, because the FBI failed to provide his trial defense with more than 3,100 pages of documents from its investigation. Ashcroft said he did not expect anything in the files of FBI witness interview notes, photographs and tapes to contradict the verdict against the decorated Army veteran, who was sentenced to die for the 1995 truck bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building that killed 168 people. But he said questions posed by the withholding of the documents were serious and that it was his duty to "protect the integrity of the system of justice." proud graduate of Newbie University. Ok, yeah, so innocent people may sometimes get convicted, but it's no better in this country and it takes years and years... US Judicial System = worse than AIDS (hey, even AIDS kills people faster)  | ||||

It's a better explanation of why it's being postponed then they give. It's a reason why he's so lax and prepared to be killed. Why the fuck does a convicted rapist or murderer or in McVeigh's case,a cold blooded mass murderer terrorist get to pick what he wants as his last meal. He is going to die thinking he is a martyr (sp). If they are going to kill him, at least do it in a less humane way than lethal injection.... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I say we put him in a room with families of the victims for a few minutes and let them do anything they want. but that would never happen.. i do think that the punishment should fit the crime. He should not get lethal injection. that seems way to humane. Firing squad would be ok probably but they do it one at a time.. first the legs, then the arms, then the stomach, and then the chest, and then the face and then the top of the head.. one every 30 seconds. proud graduate of Newbie University. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Sep. 00 | How about this idea. Lethal Injection with a type of poison that doesn't kill at first. They give it to him, say "oopsy" apparently he's not dead. Let him go back to his cell, tell him a second date is coming. After two days he'll start to feel something, a little something no idea. By the end of the first week agonizing pain, second week insides start to slowly start to stop working, they work for awhile but slowly start to lose power. Third week sores and scabs start to form on his body. By the end of the fourth week he is being eaten alive from the inside and dies painfully. The reason he has fired his lawyers and declined appeals is that he wants to die. He is looking to become a Martyr for anyone who would follow in his footsteps. Just like he idolized the "Heroic Martyrdom" of David Koresh at the Waco Compound, he is looking to do the same thing. Let him rot in a hole somewhere. Show everyone else what happens to "Heroes" who murder the inncoent in droves.
