I had the remarkable pleasure of meeting her when I went to Tennessee to visit them (and other parts of her family who live there). I don't quite remember how the subject of JonBenet came up. I'm fairly sure I brought it up, but don't remember the context. I was saying how it's really wrong to do that to your kid. Now, keep in mind that AT THE TIME, I didn't know about her past. She didn't like what I was saying too much. She got on the defensive, big time. But the weirdest part about it is that in her ind, she's made her own reality up about it all.... apparently her stance is that it was all her idea. She said that if she didn't want to do it, she wouldn't have. Said she wanted to do it all along, not that her parents pushed her into it. My girl and I don't quite believe that story.... she was raised that way, and by looking at her, she's still completely obsessed with looking good... we live in a sick fucking world, don't we?
