In the case of us males, this could be perceived as GEEEEEEEYYYYYY! I would prefer something like: O&A Fanatic O&A Addict O&A Cult Member or any other suggestions the board members have. Jeff, you are a cool guy from what I have seen you post, but, I am with k1D on this. I don't know who decides on this, but it obviously does not sit well with the poeple that have this attached to their every post. I know it is just a message board, and a place I enjoy visiting every chance I get, but again, "Worshipper" is not what I would deem appropriate. Jeff, you guys did a great job in putting this site up and YES I AM grateful that we have a home and I'd like to thank you for your efforts. But to answer your question of why is everyone making a big deal over little bullshit. To some of us, it's not bullshit. The status that people have are pretty much part of their identity. It's who we are. It's an obscure reference to our psyche. I know it's just a board and it only contains words but it does mean alot to some people. There was a running joke on the old board about OandA.com anonymous and the 12 step program. Everyone with the "Worshipper" status here added to it and appreciated the humor behind that post. If it's not too much trouble, when you can spare a moment, if the "O&A Worshipper" can be changed to "O&A.comA Member", I'm sure you would get the appreciation of alot of board members, including myself.
