Don & Mike back on the air with new contract Don & Mike took to the airwaves today after Best-of ran for the first three hours of the show. They say that on Tuesday night right after Opie & Anthony's contract was finished, Ken Stevens began negotiations on their contract. Don said that they had a 5-year contract with an additional 2-year option. Infinity has now picked up Don & Mike with the 2-year option, and Don & Mike sounded genuinely happy with the new arrangement. No details were revealed, but Don said that there were concrete improvements in how the show is treated by management, with dates & deadlines to ensure there would be no foot-dragging. The most surprising announcement is that the boys can now say Howard Stern's name on the air, and they said it to prove it. Ken Stevens joined them in the studio for the announcement.
