| Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01  | Listen there is someone out on the board getting pictures of me topless & on the bus and sending them to my family members(especially my grandparents) this persons' e-mail address is CM778H@aol.com. this person was probably a member for a short while but still long enough to get these pics that were ONLY posted on the message board. help me get any information and kick him off if we can. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | It could be someone from the board who set that email up on the side since AOL like most ISP's allow for more than one email addy per account, but I would like to believe that noone here who do that kind of thing. Either way, if it can't be addressed through the board, your best bet would be to try to get to your gradmother's email (and anyone else who might possibly receive it) and have that address blocked. Also, if your grandmother is getting them, whoever sent it must know her address and must know you, so that should somewhat help you narrow down your suspicions as to who the hell it is. Why do people have to be such assholes???? | ||||

Contact the service provider and report that the user of that e-mail account is utilizing their service to spread unauthorized slanderous photos of you. While we may not be able to track him down the service provider most certainly can.. and while they'll probably do nothing more than keep him from using their service anymore.. at least it's something. And most people who do that thing think "wow.. I'm totally anonomous on the internet" and usually an action like that lets them know that while you yourself may not be able to find them.. SOMEONE can.. and that usually scares them off. BTW Wendy... why the new account? what's wrong with your old one?  No! I am NOT a Goth Dude!! "Good? Bad? I'm the guy with the gun!" | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Magus is right on that - AOL is pretty good about problems like that. Just have your grandmother and whoever else got the emails forward the oroginal email to abuse@aol.com (I think that's the address) and have them say that the person is sending unsolicited nude photographs to them. They will, at the very least, remove the account. I'll look around and see if the person left a paper trail.
