You know, in Friends, there's an inconsistency in the date of Rachel and Chandeler meeting. They supposedly met when Monica and Rachel were in High School and Chandeler and Ross were in College. But then they say Chandeler first met Rachel in the coffee house when it was still a bar. I hate inconsistencies! Thanks for the spelling lesson Spuds, I was having one of those moments.

I've brought this failure to follow the past up before.

Abe Simpson has an illegitimate son, Herb (Uncy Herb) It is made clear in 2 episodes that he is intelligent and successful

A couple of seasons ago, Lisa thinks she is becoming dumb, but it found out that only the Simpson males become dumb through the Simpson Gene. Abe passed it on to Homer, Homer to Bart. Lisa's relieved.

So if I know my genetics...shouldn't Uncy Herb be stupid. It is clearly passed on through the males, making any son legitimate or not, dumb.

Then to top it off, last season they try to pass off Homer's stupidity on a crayon that's been stuck up his nose, putting pressure on the brain since childhood.

How dumb do they think we are?
