| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | So what is it that keeps bringing you here? What is it that stops you from going out and finding a life, or is this all that life has left to offer? What forces you to spend a ridiculous amount of hours here everyday instead of going out and interacting with people face to face? So bare your soul and and share with everyone your thoughts of the insanity that keeps bringing you back. Myself, I actually haven't completely figured it out yet. And no, my status isn't the reason. For those that were around at the time, they know that was self imposed from a Mod change my status spoof thread that I started awhile back (thanks Lord Magus for pointing out that my original statement was in error). I do enjoy the sarcastic humor and do find an interesting cross section of opinions and thoughts. Not to mention, the occassional good natured tooling is always enternaining. Plus I have had a chance to meet and enjoy some great social time with some of the board members.  o&aswallow Recognized His Destiny Early. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | wow...oaswallow, i bow to you because you have asked the one question that i have been trying to answer myself for at least the last two weeks. due to some of the same things that i've been dealing with, couple of my closest friends from the board cashed in their chips and left very recently. just tired of all the bullshit. they, and many others, know what i am talking about and i don't blame them one bid. i actually strongly considered doing the same thing not even a week ago. (i'm sure not that anybody cares) i think the reason that i stay is that when you put all the bullshit aside, there are a bunch of people here that i can consider very good friends. i have fun hanging out with them at bar 9, and just BSing with them on a daily basis. yes, there is a lot of crap that this place brings along with the good, but there is a enough good that keeps me coming back. at least, thats the story i'm sticking to today. As I've mentioned in other threads in the past, I have been a member of other message boards, but this one is the only one that I actually fel like a member of the "community". I've never seen a board where the members get as personal as they do, and in turn, that makes me open up a bit to everyone here as well.
