| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | This is just speculation, but I think that between the radio chick's comments concerning her ratings yesterday and the show going into "best of" mode, she could be standing on the unemployment line. Maybe I didn't listen to the end of the show to hear if the show would be a rerun tommorow, but I think she's gone for good. If that is indeed the truth, would Don and Mike get the spot? Don and Mike renewed their contract around the same time O&A did, so they also negotiated a better deal. They, along with O&A, are allowed to mention Sterns name if they want, but they hid the details on other things they have settled on. My theory is that the chick was a target for elimination and that Don and Mike will move to 9-12. I know some of you fuckers don't care and/or you think both of those shows suck, so do me a favor and keep your opinion about Radio chick and Don & Mike to yourselves. Their national syndicated audience expects them live in the afternoon drive. He sucks, but he brings them big advertising dollars. I'll stick to my original thought that D & M will move to 11-3 with Ron & Fez moving to 7-11. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Vegeta - Someone I was talking to last night told me that Don and Mike would be taking over the Radio Chick's time slot, and was happy about it because with the new deal they would be syndicated in bigger markets than they are now. Opie and Anthony would then be syndicated in areas like D.C. etc. I don't know if any of this is true, and personally I don't care what happens on WNEW beyond the 3-7 slot, but I figured I would share what I "know." So the new line up could be Sport Guys: Too Effin Early - 10 D&M: 10 - 3 O&A: 3 - 7 R&F: 7 - 11 (back to 4 hours) The Bald Truth: 11 - 1 Sooooo, let's replace a show that has nearly a 1.7 Rating, very close to the second highest rate show on the station, and replace is with a show that loses 80% of the audience that precedes it. Then again, following the Sports Guys, that would be losing 40 listeners?  220, 221, whatever it takes. | ||||

I think if you polled the majority here, you would see that NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE RADIO CHICK OR DON & MIKE!!!

Frankly, anything to help Ron and Fez move to after the O&A show will help them. They have not been the same since they made the switch. Furthermore, Don and Mike on before O&A is great. I listen to all three shows and support each of them. To me, the station exists from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Don and Mike are simply NOT funny to me. If they take over Chick's time slot, that still wouldn't make them funny. Moving Ron and Fez to nights would be ok, as I think their show is great. Has it suffered in the current time slot? Hard to tell because when they were on late at night, I always missed a chunk of the show. Now, I can listen to the whole thing and enjoy it. In any event, I like Chick and will miss her show if indeed they've fired her again. I always turn off the radio after 7 p.m. However, if everything gets turned around, then I guess I will just have to get work done before O&A!  "This is, This is Legal isn't it?" | ||||
