O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	Mine would have to be mushrooms. The trip is more mellow than that of acid (LSD) My first time was at my first DEAD show at Giant Stadium. I got an 8th of 'shrooms from a hippie in the lot and munched on 'em about 45 minutes before we went in. I was headed for the time of my life. I've taken acid and mushrooms but never mesc. I was wondering what any of you have taken and prefer. I'd love to read about any crazy stories you have to share. "We don't take kindly to not takin' kindly around here." O&A Board Regular Registered: Apr. 01	shrooms are much more social than the other choices but i always preffered mescaline in the right environment. been a while though. the best drug was qualuudes but you havent been able to get a real one of those in 15 years. Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01	I have always had a fondness for LSD. I tried shrooms once and puked really badly. I've had lots of fun times with LSD, though. From freaking out at Wendy's to thinking I was in a black and white movie. The only thing that sucks with acid is that if you're tripping with people who you're not too fond of, you'll hate them even more when your trip runs out. Anyone else have a similar experience?

O&A Board Regular Registered: Apr. 01	i was once on acid and a buddy and i went to riverside park to hang. after a while we realized we had been there for hours and that our girlfriends were gonna be pissed. we went home and found out we had only been gone 20 minutes. Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01	I always wanted to try shrooms but i never have. But i did do acid a few times. I never had a bad experience with it. I did trip for 13 hours straight one time. A friend of mine had gone to a dead show and brought back liquid hits. He put drops on a tissue for me and the shit hit me in 15 minutes. I was talking to my mother in the kitchen and the all of the sudden i realized that she was not making one bit of sense to me. It ws funny as hell. O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	being young and extremely stupid, i tried acid twice, i actually tripped before i had ever even smoked up..talk about doing things ass backwards..since then i have learned my lesson..ahhh to be young and naive again... For a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself..

O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jan. 01	LSD was my best friend. It was my only friend. I was my reality, my escape from people who couldn't provide enough stimuli for me. I've actually had so many interesting experiences with LSD, and a plethora of other drugs. But if I was to write it it would drone on for pages and pages. If you really want to hear, e-mail me or IM me. I'd love to talk about it. But people around here don't like words much. Now you can see why I never wanted to leave that island

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	Back in the day when I used to do the drugs I found that mescaline would give you the most consistent trip. I used to take them very often. I have only tried shrooms twice and I really didn't care for them, it may have been due to the quality, who know's. My best trip came when I took the acid, me and my friend accidently took three hits a piece, I say accidently because we had only planned on taking one each but we weren't feeling anything after 30 minutes so we kept taking them. It was one freaky experience. I have never had a trip that intense, I actually thought I might die. I came thisclose to jumping off his balcony, doors kept opening and closing, stupid polka dot wallpaper in his bathroom kept moving. Best part was when "Amazon Women on the Moon" came on. It topped off a perfect night. We trashed my friends apt.(we cleaned up the next day), he was out celebrating his 21st b-day and needless to say he was a bit surprised when he got back. So my favorite hallucinogen would have to the mesc. followed by the acid.

Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01	Every drug I've done has done nothing the first handful of times I did it. Smoked pot three or four times and remained sober as a judge. Last April I was in Seattle and I went to a birthday party for this really interesting guy who was serving Swedish Fish laced with acid. So I ate a couple. Half an hour later, I was starting to feel like the designated driver (i wasn't) so I told my friend Tony my issue and he called the Man over and the Man dispensed some more orally to me using a breath mint dropper bottle. And Yea, verily, it was minty, but half an hour later, still Sober. So he came over, said "Open your mouth!" and dispensed about four more drops. Nothing ever did happen that night. So I drank heavily and felt better. The next night however, we were at an Easter party, celebrating the resurrection of Christ by eating Rabbit and watching the Evil Dead movies. And the same scene happened, with the acid. half an hour before we went home, Brook declared me immune. when we got home, however, we decided to watch the Maxx video, and by the time that was over, I was looking at everything through a transparent checkerboard pattern of.... ...DAISIES! Green and white little fucking DAISIES! Nothing was even moving! I would have felt cheated, if I had paid for the acid. I think my favorite drug is Rumpleminze. Or maybe it's the Maxx. Age 17, 1985, Mesc: My brother's Judas Priest poster came to life and performed a concert in front of me. That was pretty cool... Age 18, Shrooms: The most "natural" trip I ever experienced. We ate them on pizza to downgrade the nausea. A very beautiful experience, but unfortunately, not with the right people. I did not repeat it. Age 21, 1989, Acid: The very 1st Woodstock Anny party, Bethel, NY. The treetops came to life as womens' faces and talked to me. Pretty wild. My recommendation: Do not do ANY mind-altering substances unless you feel like meeting your true self... Which is NOT a BAD thing. Just very life-altering.. "I am so amazingly cool you could keep a side of meat in me for a month. I am so hip I have difficulty seeing over my pelvis."
