| Hanger-On Registered: Sep. 00 | one thing i have learned is only rely on press releases from the game makers in this case Activision or Raven for release dates websites that have pre-orders are estimating the release dates. I hate game delay's but it happens =( I have seen some nice screens for SoF 2 and can't wait hopefully multiplayer was as good as it was in the first game. I don't know if anything can pull me away from Counter-Strike and RTCW. Especially with new Counter-Strike CZ coming out around same time as Sof 2. CZ in the next 2 months or so i think , again no official release date hehe | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jul. 01 | I got the release version of the game and its a pretty cool game. It would be awesome if it weren't for the little annoyances. The good: 1. The game has amazing detail. Its quite marvelous what a shotgun can do to a body. 2. The gore is the best I've ever seen. Especially when you put the gore at extreme. Plus the enemies after you kill them look very realistic. 3. The level design was well thought out. Except for the stealth missions. 4. The sound effects are wonderful. The bad: 1. In the first version of SOF, a guy would stick his ear out from a tree and you could hit it. In the second installment, I would have the guy's head in my sights with the sniper gun at X20 and would hit the side of the tree. Very annoying. 2. You can't shoot through holes in the wall. 3. If an enemy opens up a locked door doesn't mean you can go through it. 4. The mission where you have to save the scientist in one of the early missions, he just seems to love walking into cross-fire. 5. The stealth mission are not very good. As soon as a guard looks at you the alarm sounds. No radio in, no hitting an alarm button. 6. The shadows on the highest level still have problems. | Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | I am having trouble in the jungle with my sniper rifle i am blowing to much ammo on guys. One time the guy will go down with a body shot and other it will take 2 shots and the trees do get annoying when your trying to maintain cover. One thing i also noticed i am crawling along and i still get spotted..ehh. Plus in sof1 the lean was alot quicker . Over all I like it and one point I really like is the 3 saves, which makes it harder. In sof 1 there were like 5 saves but i never needed all of them the game moved fast and your weapons were powerful and got you to the end of lvls fast (in my opinion). p.s a hint for the stealth mission at the train station, i knocked out everyone and the diced them up so they dont wake up. | ||||
