| Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 01  | Hopefuly the Mac guys can help me out with this one, I have a pc with a Linksys WAP I want to know if the airport card can connect directly to the linksys or will I need the Airport base station too? | ||||

OR buy airport base station, use airport card and get 11mb/s plus the newer base stations have 128 bit encryption and a few other new features... airport 2.0 :) what kind of mac is all this for anyway? | Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | Why should it matter if he uses an airstation or Linksys WAP? They are both 802.11b standard. They covered this on TechTV a few days ago. Distance is the biggest variable when it comes to determining the bandwith of wireless devices. DasDoomper  | ||||
