Psychopath Registered: Oct. 01 | i have a really shitty tv i play ps2 on. but i often watch dvds with the ps2 as well. the problem is that i get all this shitty feedbackish noise from teh tv when i turn the volume up to hear the movies. If i get one of those sound systems, can i just hear through those outta my ps2, or is it still gonna use my tv? and which is a good one to buy thats not that expensive? "This is my BOOM stick..." O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | my friend got one...$50... it hooks up through A/V ports it the back of the tv then you put up to 4 systems into the base. it also serves as a stand for the PS2. i think this is it... and no, you dont need the tv volume on because the sound is fed directly into the base AIM | E-MAIL

Psychopath Registered: Dec. 01 | You can also do what I did. And just rip the yellow video rca cable off the red and white (sound) rca cables. Now you run your video cable to the TV, and the two sound rcas to the stereo, or whatever you plan on using for sound.
