| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | You can read about it here at Gamespot. Looks like I might finally pick one of these up (I opted for an X-Box when it came time to choose). Of course, I really only wanted one for GTA3 which is coming to the PC in a few weeks, but there are a few other PS2 games that have caught my eye. Anyone else gonna finally pick one up? | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jul. 00 | Some more info. It's about fuckin time! I knew my patience (poverty, whatever..) would eventually pay off. I just finally ordered a N64 and Dreamcast, I may have to get a PS2 soon too now. I guess having a job has its advantages after all.

I'll just return it to them, and buy another one at the Electronics Boutique store in the mall near me. I could use that extra hundred to buy a couple of games. And given enough time I think MS has the capability to license and even produce it's own games on a much grander scale than it has so far (and definitely moreso than "let's make another 10 Mario games" Nintendo). | Hanger-On Registered: Apr. 02 | Damnit, this just adds to my confusion. I was finally decided on getting a X-box, now this shit happens, erg. PS2 has the better library of games right now. But the X-box is the most powerfull system by far, and most of the great games out for PS2 are being ported for X-box (like GTA3 which the X-box version is supposed to look way better and keep all violent fun of the original). I think this calls for an X-box price drop. I know i should probably just take less classes for like the next 3 semesters of school and concentrate on getting both systems :-D EDIT: I meant another X-BOX price drop :). Honestly all 3 of the companies always lose money with the actual console sales, they spend more money making the consoles then they'll ever make from the sales.
