This is possible right? I looked online for it, but all I came up with was something about a mod-chip and buying special software. Is there a way around this? A friend of mine is asking me to help burn a few copies of a few really rare games she bought.

Well first off, you'd have to get a DVD-burner. PS2 is DVD-based, unless I've been lied to all along.

Let's try a new sig

I had my dream again where I'm making love, and the Olympic judges are watching. I'd nailed the compulsaries, so this is it, the finals. I got a 9.8 from the Canadians, a perfect 10 from the Americans, and my mother, disguised as an East German judge, gave me a 5.6. Must have been the dismount.

I've got posters on the wall - My favorite rock group Kiss. I've got Ace Frehley. I've got Peter Criss. Waiting there for me, Yes I do,I do. In the garage I feel safe. No one cares about my ways. In the garage - Where I belong, No one hears me sing this song. In the garage. I've got an electric guitar. I play my stupid songs. I write these stupid words, and I love every one. Waiting there for me, yes I do, I do

Mod chips are nightmare to do.

I have one in my original playstation that a buddy of mine did. Guy was a used to that shit though. He went to school for some computer degree where he built boards for computers, vending machines, ect... out of raw parts (processors, ect...).

I hope someone comes out with a solder-free one soon though. Remeber when playstation first came out? The plug and play chip?

Maybe they can develop one for the expansion port in the back of the machine.

Nope...the mod chip would be Gigantic, and besides the expansion port's going to be used for the network adapter which gets released this summer. It should kick some major ass tho. Online Madden, twisted metal, etc.
