| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | Fez, Tribes 2 rocks. Get it. But you will need a fast computer (I recommand at least P3 500 and 256 mb of ram). Yeah you will have to dlownlaod some patchs, and the new OpenGl drives dont work with win2K, so you need to be running 98. And if you ever need a key code for any program download a program call Serials 2K. Do a search on Cnet.com and dowload that program. It has an S load of key codes.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 00 | im a HUGE tribes fan... i played tribes1 almost every night for a year and now that tribes2 is out, i play that instead. here r my opinions on tribes2... you need a KICK ASS system in order to play it. i have an athlon600, 256mb ram, geforce2 ultra, etc... overall its a pretty pimped out system which i plan on upgrading soon. :) (i got my comp right when athlons came out, so my mobo only supports agp1x) with this setup, i play t2 in 1024x768 @ 32bit w/ all grafix set to highest settings. when i am inside buildings i get 80+ fps which is great... but when i go outside my fps drop to around 40 fps (and when there r lots of people/explosions on screen i sometimes drop to 10-20 fps). even if you didn't like tribes1, i suggest you give tribes2 a chance, cuz it is a totally different game. **NOTE** if you have a voodoo3, 4 or 5 DO NOT get this game unless u plan on buying a new video card soon. tribes2 duz not support glide, and opengl/direct3d run like SHIT on voodoo based grafix cards... MST3KLD- there have NEVER been any opengl compatibility issues w/ tribes2... maybe ur thinking of glide, which won't work w/ tribes2. you don't need to worry about downloading patches because tribes2 has a built in auto update feature. and i agree, serials 2k rox :) Don't forget to visit www.foundrymusic.com | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | Hummer, not true about 2K.. I dual boot with Win2K advanced server, and OpenGL isn't even an option within the game. I emailed tech support a long time ago.. but they never got back to me.. so i dumped the game onto my 98 partition and it's smooth as silk now. If any of you guys ever want to get in game goto channel GNG in T2, the name I play with is [GNG]LaughRiot. mindless ass cunt! - IAMANTHONY | ||||
