| Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01  | What would you rather have Valve come out with? 1. The long awaited TF2 or 2. Counter Strike 2 My vote would be #2, CS2, even though I have been waiting for TF2 since they announced it. Either way, I wish the hell they would hurry up and put something out other than a HL add-on using that dated engine (like that blue shift thingy). Does anyone have any news as to what is happening at Valve? If you read this far, you have nothing to do! | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 01 | From what i understand, TF2 is going to be a combo of both games. the guns, shooting similar to CS, but you wont be able to kill each other as fast as CS, more like TFC | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Sep. 00 | Okay guyz TF2 isn't coming out quikly becuase they don't wan't to have a regular online game so its taking long becuase they are making a whole new game thats not like anything else and there is NO release date set. Only release dates that are true come from the makers Valve or Sierra Studios. And where have you heard of Counter-Strike 2???? they are coming out with another expansion for it just like when CS was a mod but its a new retail version and download its just add-ons nothing really new i have seen valve quoted many times saying the new Counter-strike expansion is not a sequel it just ads a few new items maps and models , of course the long awaited 1 player mode also. But if there is a Counter-Strike 2 in the works i have not seen it announced. | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 01 | guys dont forget, tfc is the beta testing for tf2.also note the patch coming out at the end of the month is gonna incorporate the voice communication system that was supposed to come out with tf2. but its gonna be here in a bout a week for tfc. not sure about cs | ||||
