-- WrestlingClassics.com reports that "Gentlemen" Chris Adams was shot and killed earlier today in Waxahachie, Texas. Reports indicate that Adams was visiting with an old roommate but the meeting turned violent after both men were drinking and got into a brawl. Adams' former roommate is alleged to have shot Adams but is claiming he did it in an act of self-defense.

-- Chris Adams is best remembered as being the trainer of a then inexperienced Steve Austin, also engaging in some memorable early feuds with Austin that helped launch his career.

Maybe now he will be able to finally finish up his feud with Gino Hernandez. One dying of cocaine, the other from being shot. What ways to go.

-------------------
But there's also this: there are over 5,000 men in this city, who know that being a policeman is an endless, glamourless, thankless job that's gotta be done.

I know it, too, and I'm damn glad to be one of them."

None the less it is sad how some people just get forgotten like this.
