If you look at how RVD wrestles, you can understand why he opens people up all the time. He uses kicks and moves that noone else attempts. The big name WWF wrestlers are 'classical' style wrestlers and aren't into changing up their way of working. So instead, RVD has to change his? That is fucked up. I think that RVD and the other wrestlers need to both look at the reason's as to why everyone is getting bloodied up and work on 'em. Obviously, RVD has timing problems in the WWF but, the other wrestler's need to work more with his style. The Rock is the only one that didn't get opened up. Why? Because the Rock understood how to work with RVD and had the speed and the abililty to work with RVD.
And Tazz is probably the biggest disappointment to me of all the ECW guys. He was awesome to watch and now cause the other wrestlers aren't willing to any of his suplexes, his money maker, he has done nothing in the ring. That doesn't make any sense anyway, look at Chris Benoit, he did ten german suplexes at once. That move is one of the most dangerous moves in wrestling. I don't even think that they allow that move in amatuer wrestling for just that reason. It seems more like politics to me then anything.

From PWBTS.com

There is an unwritten rule in professional wrestling. When you accidently hit someone too hard in a "soft spot" you apologize. "Soft Spot" is defined as the ribs, the head, the joints, and the genitalia. Well RVD violated that unwritten rule not once, not twice, not three, four, or five times. SIX TIMES!!!! Supposidly after RAW several people noticed Rock was pretty ticked off. He did the customary "good match, was everything ok?" post match with RVD but that was that. A couple people ALLEGEDLY heard him say to Shane McMahon, "How many damned times are you gonna let him get away with that?!?! That's Bullshit Shane!." Now that is an ALLEGED direct quote from the Rock to which Shane replied, "I'll talk to him, I'll take care of it." Now take that for what it's worth but it SOUNDS to me like if these words were actually said..... An argument could be made that Shane McMahon is going to bat for RVD time and time again and is running out of excuses. My opinion?? I counted atleast three times where RVD just plastered Rock and one stiff kick to the ribs where you could clearly see on camera RVD say, "Shit, Sorry." The other two times is where RVD came off the ropes with kicks and caught Rock hard.

Now here's the part where I stand up for RVD. Sorta.....When you're in the ring with a guy who is known for bookoo use of his feet the general rule is you protect yourself. When a kick comes towards the head you get your hands up to catch it and push off the foot. If done correctly the force of the kick and you pushing off makes the kick look like it landed much harder than it did. Several of the kicks that have caused color in the past few weeks were simply not protected correctly. RVD can't be blamed 100% for that. What he CAN BE BLAMED for is that he has a nasty habit of not calling out what he is about to do. He just kicks. In some cases that is fine. When you're about to karate kick someone to the head you say clearly to the other guy, "kick, watch your head." (Or something to warn the other guy what is coming) You just don't take aim and hope you don't "tater" the other guy. One more thing....... When you're in the ring with someone who is known for bookoo use of his feet you NEVER NEVER NEVER stop watching yourself. Guys with karate gimmicks are tem times more likely to plaster someone on a semi-regular basis than someone with a regular wrestler gimmick.

I have to say that I am surprised. Last night was the first time in recent memory that I can remember Rock actually LOCKING UP to start a match. The Rock-RVD match in my opinion was off the charts. Truly fun to watch.

Hey we have to take Tajiri's kicks out of this equation...they sound like that when he just kicks the air. There have been reports of him warming up backstage, just kicking, and making that loud cracking sound so...

As for RVD being sloppy, maybe a little bit, but I don't think he is getting killed by the WWF on it. If that were the case he WOULD NOT BE IN THE MAIN EVENT SUNDAY!!! Vince doesn't care about the fans, he can make just as much money putting Austin v Angle on again as he could putting RVD in that match. I think its the media blowing this out of proportion cause there really isn't a whole lot else to talk about in wrestling right now, except sagging ratings and bad shows...

I dis agree. The people he's killing are complianing about getting busted or him being a dead weight in the ring. Isn't it funny how we blame either the victim or the Media on our mishaps. NOT the Media my friend, Not the Media.

the guys getting busted open have every right to complain, there the ones getting hurt, getting scars for life, and getting stitches, RVD is just being lazy, but its the way he was trained in ECW, every second match there had blood involved, it was a way of doing things in ECW

my point was...have you seen anything stating

"AUSTIN said, I am pissed off at RVD for being sloppy in the ring"

Or the Rock, or Jericho or Raven??

NO, its the media saying that they must be getting pissed about it...

show me the quotes from these guys and i will consider it...until then, its more of the same from the media in my mind.

I was wathching Smackdown last night, and when he busted Kurt's nose you could just see the miss timed kick. Kurt just started gushing blood. His whole face was covered by the end of the match.

Of cause not. Have you ever heard them complain about anyone? Even with all the back door loobying the UT does, have you ever heard him use his status?... No. But we have reports of it. That is what is called back door talks. We don't hear tham talk about it but other wrestlers do. And you can see it transpire in the ring. Austins altering his script sayin to RVD...I'll give you a watch for Christmas so that you'll know what time it is" RVD in a match against the ROck RVD visibly said Sorry a couple of times, Last night match againgst Angle, RVD looked kinda dazed after busting Angles nose (Oh no I did it again).
I'm not saying these in ring activities alone shows that they are pissed off at RVD but, We don't know what is going on back stage and depend on the wrestling Media to report that to us. I personally haven't seen the media chewing RVD up. All I've seen are just back stage reports of comments by other wrestlers. Is that blowing it out of proportion?
