| Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01  | I don't know about the rest of you, but I thought Raw was pretty damn good last night. Angle vs. Rhyno was a sweet TV match (line of the night by Heyman: "Rhyno used to gore people on the streets of Detroit"), the Rock/Jericho backstage promo was fuckin' great, Tajiri looked strong (WTF happened to Kidman? He's obviously taking the WWF vitamins, and it's killing his ring work), ALL matches were given time to develop and ended cleanly, and less McMahons is always more gooder. Best Raw in a long, long time. Dave Meltzer is reporting that RVD was originally supposed to fight UT on Raw, but his opponent was changed to The Big Show at the last minute. Hmmm... Apparently, Steve Corino is NOT retiring. He wrestled Shinya Hashimoto (who is AWESOME BTW) at the NWA anniversary show, and afterwards said that he's accomplished all his goals in North America, and will be concentrating on wrestling in Japan. Reportedly his match with Hash was very good and he took to the Japanese style well, and considering they desperately need some fresh gaijin talent overseas, only good things can come from this. Hayabusa, FMW main eventer, was seriously injured yesterday. He caught his foot on the ropes going for a moonsault, and is currently paralyzed from the neck down. For those not familiar with Hayabusa, think of Sabu with actual wrestling ablilty. Hope everything turns out ok... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | hayabusa getting hurt really sucks. he and his partner (can't remember the name) had a great match a few years ago with the impact players in ecw on a ppv...and the 2 japanese stole the whole damn show. as for raw, it was a really strong show. giving more time to the matches makes for such the better show...but please, stop with the damn commish crap. give those minutes to the matches also, and it gets even better. i mean, do we really need to see foley and regal talking about crap that doesn't matter? sure, they are setting up matches, but so what, let jr and heyman talk about it and tell us...put regal in the ring, and if foley can't hang anymore (and who could blame him really) let him go home and play with his kids... and bravo steve corino, stay in this business...fresh young blood that can actually work is what is needed in the indies, and he is just that. a great heel who can work the mic as well as in the ring.
