Almost everybody on this board at one time or another (including me) have said that the WWF needs Triple H back if they are going to have a good show.

I disagree. While I would love to see Triple H wrestling again, I don't think that he is the answer. All he is is another hard working wrestler, which they already have an overabundance of that are not being used properly now. We are going to thrust another main event caliber wrestler into there and push other people back down again. It is going to be counter productive. People like Kidman, DDP, Jericho, RVD, Rhino, Angle, and others are only going to be hurt by his return.

So...is Triple H coming back the best thing for the WWF right now.... I don't think so. I think he should come back after a split of the companies.

HHH makes whomever he is working with that much better. His matches against Mankind are legendary. His match against Austin 2 out of 3 falls this year I would say is the leading candidate for match of the year. I think Angle and Jericho became bigger stars than they were at the time by working programs with HHH. The crowd on Raw popped like crazy when Jericho allegedly beat him for the WWF title.

HHH is the best damn heel in the business right now. he is amazing at cutting a promo. He will be the number one fan favorite when he comes back. If he pushes people back so what.

Yes HHH is that damn good.

With Trips gone, who has come close to stepping up as a worthy replacement heel? Austin? Maybe, but he just doesn't have the "meanness" as a heel that Trips does - in fact, I would argue that Austin was more of a mean bastard when he was a "face". All Austin does is spout out "what? what?". He whips decent ass in the ring, and always manages to get a win - but he doesn't have the ruthless, sinister demeanor that HHH has. Right now a heel is needed in a bad way for the WWF, and unless someone that can do it gets the push, we won't see one until The Game returns.

a lot of people say that HHH is really selfish backstage, he hates being beaten especially by younger, less experienced guys, and does whatever he can to push them down. i've never been a major fan of the guy really.

I disagree, I think that is one of the main reason that I quite watching the WCW. I got tired of seing Hogan win, and Nash, and all the guys with the big egos. It's also the main reason that I hate the Uneverjobber. I would argue that every wrestler needs to pay his dues before he beats one of the bigger superstars. Look how long it took HHH to win the WWF title how long has it taken Y2J. I think that they should put the new guys over after they have paid. I think RVD is ready, and while KA may have not been a sports entertainment along time he has been wrestling since he was in High School so in a way he also paid his due and deserved the WWF Title. No, I think HHH will do what ever is best for the buisness, and if that includes losing I think he will do it.

I don't think anyone will disagree with you. As a Face Austin was a mean Bad ass who come in the ring and just kicks ass no matter whom it is. Now as a heel, he has turned to a kiss ass whimp.

Not my deffination of a heel.

Face it, the WWF is going nowhere fast. Well, nowhere but down.

They need something to HAPPEN. They need something that will stir up viewership. They need something that will get people interested again.... something that they HAVE to see what will happen next week.

HHH means guaranteed conflict and at least one huge swerve. It has nothing to do with the man himself, but the situation he comes back to. Remember, he went out a LONG time ago. A lot has happened. And he comes back to a MAJOR personal dilemma.

He is a part of the WWF. His wife is Stephanie - hmm, a co-leader of the Alliance.

He has to choose a side. Right there, they can drag out his personal conflict, swerve you a few times, so that you'll actually WANT TO WATCH again....

Maybe during that time, they'll throw in a few other interesting things to keep you going...

Yeah, HHH's return could indeed be huge for the WWF as a whole.... if they do it right.

HHH being selfish is just about the most inacurate comment I have EVER EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRR heard in my life. He will put anybody, and I mean ANYBODY over if needed. He jobbed to the BROOKLYN BRAWLER, I don't think that man has ever won a match in his life. The wrestling industry needs more people like HHH, I don't know where you get your facts from Matilda, but you better second guess your sources.

Uh, HHH won that match.

It's pretty much common knowledge that Hunter has learned well from his buddies Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash. Anyone who thinks he puts others before himself is greatly misinformed. He's the Bill Clinton of locker room politics.

Ugh. No way. His promos are sooooo tedious. Long, rambling, monotonous, no point...
Why do you think Foley and the Rock make fun of them? I hated his mic stuff.

Now, in ring, he's pretty entertaining, though I do think his non-PPV matches tend to be too one sided in his favor. Notable exceptions were his title matches with Rikishi, Test, and Jericho.

It has been pretty well documented on the web (if that means anything) that HHH is a Vinny Mac favorite in the same way HBK and Nash were/are.
I've always felt that it seemed like HHH forced himself into main event headlines, even when he should of allowed someone else to step up and get a push. A perfect example was when Y2J got his two minute title riegn. Y2J was capable, and I think that he is, of being a main eventer. Just look at the pop that he got during the match at No Mercy and after he won and on Monday. Even reading the spoilers, it said that he was getting a huge pop, more so then before No Mercy. HHH I think is much more into pushing himself then helping the other wreslters. No doubt that he will be in EVERY main event from here on out. The Rock is obviously the most popular superstar, and even he didn't insist on getting the WWF title shot, he went for the WCW. Which in my eyes was the best thing for the sport. It did exaclty what the WWF wanted and that is to give the belt some real appeal and not a second rate title for an up and comer or a WCW guy that would get it just for the sake of getting it.
HHH is a great heel, probably the best in the business right now (well atleast when he is active). He should stick to that angle.

*Edit*: I know that it wasn't the Rock's idea to not go against Austin, what I meant was that the WWF told the Rock that is what they wanted and he did it. He could have said no and they would have done what he wanted at the time.
