Shamelessly stolen from Wrestlezone.com:

-Jim Ross noted that he is the point man in the negotiations with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. He feels they will be signed at the turn of the year when Kevin Nash's AOL/Time Warner contract with the old WCW expires.

Good idea or not? Are these two over the hill, or should they (Scott, mostly) be given another chance to prove themselves?

well now that the invasion is coming to an end at S.Series, i dont think we will need them, Benoit will be returning around there, HHH will be back, we will probably have RVD, Austin, Rock, Y2J, i dont think we will need nash especially, he is a lazy ass and knows like 3 moves

I have had enough with Sig Pics, I should have gotten adopted while I had the chance!

Unfortunately, to get Hall, we must accept Nash too. I think that Hall is so good with working the crowd that it would be worth it if they came. However, i dont want too many old WCW people here, so if its between these guys and Flair, Steiner, and Jarrett, ill have the latter in the WWF

Signing Hall and Nash would be an awful, awful move. It would be a good short-term ratings boost, but given their backstage attitudes, and the fact that they're both way over the hill, I really don't see any good coming from bringing them on board. The WWF's problems run deep, and signing wrestling's ego twins won't help one bit.

They would be perfect for one reason, a quick ratings boost, and right now that is what the WWF needs badly. So, if you are looking at it from that perspective then Hall and Nash would be good for the WWF.

but we are looking at what it would bring to the show, there would be a buzz going through the wwf for a month or so but then we would get a second undertaker in nash a.k.a. diesel, the only wcw stars i think we really want is scott steiner and jeff jarrett

Wait a second...neither am I. :)

To me, Hall & Nash are just two more reasons to become an even bigger indy wrestling fan.

I think signing Nash is a bad idea. Like rage party said we would have another over the hill wreslter that does not like to job, like my personal favorite the UNEVERJOBBER..

Sorry, Noelle.... I know how you feel about Hall, but...

Bad move. As Okonkwo said, good short-term ratings boost. But they'd probably end up like Buff. Hall may be able to work a good match (we all know Nash can NOT - unless it's with Taker in a lazy-takes-all match)... but who would you throw Hall up against? And why? And what good can possibly come of it?

The WWF needs a good kick in the pants. In all seriousness, there have only been two real WWF revolutions, and two men who led the charge.

Hulk Hogan. Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Someone needs to get to THAT level... there needs to be something that shatters the whole wrestling world, turns it on its side....

Scott Steiner IS NOT IT. He was lame and boring in WCW, and he will most likely be just as lame and boring in the WWF.

Jeff Jarrett - are you fucking kidding? Apart from the guy burning his bridge (not just burning... he fire-bombed, nuked, napalmed, then pissed and shit on it), the guy is FUCKING BORING. Do you ever wonder why he never really achieved main-event status in the WWF? It's because he hasn't changed since 1993, apart from a haircut. Still a pissed off country hick. Woo fuckin hoo, so he's not wearing the same shit, so he doesn't want to be a country/western star anymore - have his mic skills changed? Umm, no. He never DESERVED main-event status, which is why he never got it. Then he jumped, and Russo, in his INFINITE fucking wisdom, gave it to him. And it sucked!

I wouldn't really mind seeing Ric Flair in a non-wrestling capacity. The guy's a CLASSIC mouthpiece. Hell, who doesn't LOVE Fez's Naitcha Boy? But Flair needs to STAY OUT DA RING.

Another great stick worker is "Above Average" Mike Sanders. Best talent to hit WCW in its final year. And the WWF has him - I believe they're working on him for commentary. Though that would be pretty nice, I think he'd be better in a big role. But who knows, maybe they'll work him up.

Sorry for the rant, but I get angry just thinking of these desperation moves that the WWF might try.

i didn't say the answers to the latest catastrophic angle would be Double J and Steiner, i meant to say they would be better replacements than Nash & Hall, i dont think we will see the next Stone Cold or Hogan in a while, what ever happened to that rumor bout Ken Shamrock coming back??? could he be the answer???

The answer to a question no one asked. He couldn't hold his own when the WWF roster was half the size it is now...do you honestly think he has the mike skills/technical skills/fan base/charisma to make it now?

yes i do, he had a great reputation as the worlds most dangerous man, he wasnt that bad at interviews, he really electrified the crowd when he'd snap, plus i think Kurt Angle's version of the Ankle Lock is pathetic

rageparty i agree with u that things will get a
little better once benoit and HHH comes back, but
wasn't everyone bitching about how it used to be
the same few guys in the main events? what do u
think it's gonna go back to once this invasion
angle, which was a big let down, is over and it's
the same old 5-6 guys just fighting each other? i
dont think u need someone "revolutionary" to solve
their problems. I loved it right around the time
when triple h got hurt when the main events on
monday and thursday nights were lasting like 20-25
minutes. how bout they start with better matches
before u start talking about wrestlings new savior.

These two guys and more might be needed if we are going to have two seperate shows. The current alliance members cannot hold a TV show by themselves. RVD BOOKEr AND DDP thats all we have now. Add a few Old WCW supper stars and mix them up with the Current WWF stars and we'ss have two good showf WWF and WCW.

The WWF being good at what it does could benefit with the return of these former WCW wrestlers. It means more variety. And the WWF has shown it could advantage of characters the fans may not have originally liked. Cases in point: Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg and Kurt Angle. Even Austin still have a lot of followers. So does Bret Hart.

yeah, but sometimes you have to have the same guys up there, it takes time to develope a true main eventer, RVD has become one WAY to fast, and look whats happened, sloppy crappy matches, guys like HHH & Austin served like 3 years before they became main eventers, and then they put on good shows and angles, sometimes its good to have the same old people at the top until a new guy developes
