| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00  | from Chairshots radio (just for Francine Banger :) ) Francine -Francine announces that she has signed a one year deal with SuperFed. She's going to manage, be a part of the production team and will be running the women's part of the fed. -She's a fan of the WWF, but doesn't like the fact there is only one product out there to watch. She liked Monday nights a lot better when she could flip over and have Nitro on. They want to combine some familiar faces with younger talent and do something a bit different. -She announces that Jasmine St. Claire has signed. They want to sign maybe two more girls. She says that more names should be announced at the SuperFed press conference on the 18th of November. -Says that Ken Shamrock has signed, that Jerry Lawler has signed and the Road Warriors will be doing a couple shows. Says that everyone she talks about will be at least one show. -The first show is scheduled for December 14th (hey! that's my birthday!) and it will be in North Carolina. -Francine talks about her start in wrestling. She was watching ECW one night and saw an ad for the wrestling school, so she called it and talked to Tod Gordon. She ended up going and was trained by J.T. Smith. -Says that losing ECW was heartbreaking. She honestly thought it was going to be something huge until they got on TNN. She thought by that point they had even passed up WCW. -She hasn't tried to get into the WWF at all. She talked to Paul Heyman a couple times but those were only friendly conversations and didn't have anything to do with business. She says she doesn't want to have to wrestle matches all the time and she knows she would have to do that in the WWF if she went there. -Rod brings up Torrie and Stacy's matches. Francine says God bless them for trying. She says that Vince must see something in them if he keeps letting them do it. -Names Jazz as her favorite girl to work with. She still talks to her once every couple weeks. Says she was thrilled when she signed with the WWF. -Great friends with Jason Knight. Says that her first ever feud in ECW was with Jason. -Rod mentions her supposed off-camera feud with Dawn Marie. She says that it was played up for television. -She really misses the ECW fans and the atmosphere they brought to events. She hopes she can get some of that back with SuperFed. She says doing indy shows doesn't have that same effect. -Rod mentions John Collins and the other fiascos that have tried to go national. He asks her if she thinks they have a legitimate shot. She says she wouldn't have signed if she had thought otherwise. -Says that the fed will be based out of Manhattan. -Says she has talked to Josh and Chris from Tough Enough and wants to bring them both in to do a couple shows. -They already have commercials taped for TV and are going to be offering tickets through Ticketmaster. -She says its OK for people to be skeptical about the whole fed and she understands that will always be the part of something new when it comes around. -She says taking bumps really hurt. She didn't know what a bump even was until she went to camp the first day. She was told by Smith that the more she took and the more she did stuff like the guys, the more they could use her so she tried to do as much stuff as she could. She didn't know anything about the business or any wrestlers at all before going to camp, she says it wasn't a case where she was dating any workers. -She learned how to book by being around Dreamer and Heyman. She says the three of them always traveled together on the road. -She is asked about whether it's a good environment right now to start a new fed. She says "yes and no." She says people want an alternative but the war isn't helping things right now. -She plugs SuperFed.com and says goodbye. Rod says he wishes she was here, and she says she'd right in between Brent and Rod. That gets a good reaction.  Old School? New School? Shit, I didn't even go to school! NEVER FORGET!!! | ||||

I read on kenshamrock.com that he doesn't want to come back to the WWF because Vince owns WCW & ECW, so with no competition, Vince wouldn't exactly need Shamrock desperatly with a packed roster. Resulting in a less valuable Shamrock with less pay, and Shamrock wants to make some money to retire on. He wouldn't make enough in the WWF or something like that. | ||||
