So... what did everyone think?

I mean, they pulled the obvious swerve with Angle... notice they kept using the word "mole" instead of "defector" for some time.

Jazz started strong, but then just blended in with the rest of the mediocrity in the match...

Christian match... joke. Edge match... bigger joke. Battle Royal... ugh. Is there any particular reason to give Test a push?

And back to the main event... well, apparently either the last four months have been meaningless, or the Alliance just isn't going away. Take your pick, both sides suck.

What did you guys think?

Personally I think they took a PPV that could have been really interesting and really hyped people up, and made it into the awful snore-fest that we've been getting WAY too used to.

Keep pumping nails into the double-wide, double-deep coffin.

Followthis, no disrespect but....WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO ORDER PPV EVENTS IF YOU KNOW IT WILL SUCK.

True they TRIED to hype it up but if you took a good look at the card anyone could see it was going to be a boring show. PLUS, The Big Slow was part of the main event. Any type of main event with him in it is going to be boring.

Did anything else happen? Tripple H make an appearance? Any sign of Flair?

I thought the PPV was very good. The Christian match was so so but not bad for the first match. Edge vs Test was a very good wrestling match. Hardyz vs Dudleyz was another great match between those guys. If you say Matt's disgust with his brother, you know he will turn on him soon possibly as early as tonight. Anyone see a Christian and Matt hardy vs Edge and Jeff hardy match coming soon.

The women's match was a swerve as no one thought Trish had a chance.

I liked the main Event. I especially liked when Jericho almost cost Rock the match. Angle makes sense coming back to the WWF because it did not make any sense at all in the first place to turn him. Plus he got his medals back in the process.

I don't know if Lawler or Flair will show up. I would be very surprised if either show up. Defintely more with Flair as now Heyman is out of a job. However, Raw will be hot tonight. It should be really good.

Basically last night they kept all the Alliance people who were important. RVD is still WWF hardcore champ. Christian is still Euro Champ. Dudleyz are the unified tag champs. Test won immunity. Didn't Tazz turn on the Alliance on Thursday when he choked out Heyman. And you know Austin will get back somehow.

I can see Vince berating him and saying he is gone and Austin will never work again. Have Mick Foley do one final act tonight by reinstating Austin to the WWF tonight. Vince needs to be the heel owner and Austin needs to be the no nonsense sumbitch that he used to be and hate everybody, good or bad, face or heel.

The only real major guy who should be off tv for a while is Booker T. The rest raven, Justin Credible, Lance Storm, DDP, Mike Awesome, need training and come back in a few months repackaged and give them a chance to shine.

I see Vince calling out his son and daughter and having them have to earn their way back into the WWF. Say make Stephanie clean all the bathrooms after say Big Show takes a dump. Have Shane face Undertaker and Kane in a handicapped match. But they will be back eventually.

Isnt Austin still the WWF champion? So if your theory is correct about making the important people champs to keep them, he should already be in.

What about Booker T?

Well first off I'll say I think that Raw will be better then the PPV.Secondly Ill say that im not meaning this to disrespect some of you guys but why do you constantly complain about PPVs and the overall storyline?Last week everyone on here was saying what theres only going to be one match? Then they make the rest of the card and everyone talks about how boring it was. What do you want them to do? All of their top guys were in one match.I dont think it was as good as Wrestlemania but I dont think it was terrible you have got to admit that you were dieing to see the outcome of the main event so they did thier jobs .Their is no point in complaining all the time when we keep watching.Again Im not directing this at any one in particular and I know the show has been subpar but it will get better. In my opinion it sucks so bad right now because they dont have to be better then anyone else cause there isnt anybody else, plus with so many potentially good wrestlers and so many belts it has temporarily lost intrest to us the real wrestling fan.Lets see what hppens on Raw it should be good and probably will be the turning point.

Numbnutts. Thank you. I am a complete jackass. I forgot that I guess. There is my point though. All the valuable people from the Alliance have turned back to WWF (Angle and tazz) or own WWF titles (Austin, Christian, Dudleyz, RVD) or won immunity (Test)

So Austin is easily on it. The only person who I think will be off tv for a while is Booker T. Don't know how they could get him in storyline wise unless he becomes the Rock's chauffeur or cabana boy.

I think the reason why it suck so bad right now is beacause they have too many people on their roster. It is difficult to focus on a push for one wrestler while holding off the rest. And with A PUSH, you need to focus on the PUSH and stay with it. HOw many of us complained about how much we hated the What saying fool SCSA became? How many of us said we couldn't stand those "WHATS"? but they stayed with it and now what? we all are saying how funny it is... What?
I say cut the roster (may be two separate show or just laying off people) and Concentrate on the individual story lines.
Look at how many story line could have been developed in the last 2-3 months and how many were choped off because of TV time?
More is better but in this case, moer is not better

I thought as a whole the PPV was pretty good. The main event was cool, I (like TW) liked the fact that Jericho almost cost Rocky the match. I was really getting tired of Heyman's commentating though - he is WAY too overdramatic, and it gets to the point of being sickening. It would be really cool if the King showed up tonight to reclaim his seat next to JR, but I'm not holding my breath for that to happen. All in all it was a decent PPV.

Just something I noticed during the main event intros, all wcw logos in Booker T and Shane's intro Videos have already been removed.

I've Survived Hulkimania, "Attitude", and the Invasion. I've been a fan since Wrestlemania 2. Wresling has been a part of my life for a long time and as fong as my friend still has free cable hooked up and I can watch them at his house I will still be a WWF fan.

I didn't say all that, your more like 1/4 Jackass.

After all, I have to credit the WWF with the other 3/4 of the jackass. They are the ones who spent the last 3-4 motnhs making the championships meaningless.

Not necesarily. Even though he worked for ECW, he didn't announce for "ECW", he announced for "WWF Raw", whether he was on their side or not. Even though they'll probably use Cole in his place (if they didnt sign Lawler).

Would be funny. Booker T's personal "Invasion" into the Rock's life. I don't think they'll keep too many guys off tv for long, especially Booker T.

Here's to hoping they dont dissappoint us tonight with the show (yes, I'm still holding out hope).

Heh... good question. Answer is easy though... I don't. I go to my friend's house. :)

Triple H did make an appearance.... on the graphic for Vengeance....

IAMTHEGAME - it's the nature of the Internet fans to complain about every little thing, yet still watch every minute. ;)

Ferret - Remember, Heyman - as storylines go - kicked out Michael Cole to be the Alliance announcer. An announcer whose purpose was to represent the Alliance.

Now now, silly folks... let's not get hasty about lost jobs... yes, it seems that the last four months can basically be wiped from your memory, but is the Alliance really going away? After all, it *is* a WCW tradition to completely ignored all match stipulations once the match is done....

Hell, remember the Hogan/Flair First Blood match that ended with a pinfall - AFTER BOTH GUYS WERE BLEEDING?

Well I thought last night was ok...no major surprises, but some decent wrestling. The women's match was pretty good, at least they have a division of women that can actually wrestle.

The Edge-Test match was great, I thought. I hope they carry on a feud with each other because I could definitely see some tremendous matches in the future.

That's what is really missing IMO--real heat generated from feuds that have been built up through 4 or 5 PPV's. How long do midcard feuds last now? The biggest feud they've had lately was Edge-Christian, for only 2 PPV's. Back in the day, a brother on brother feud that breaks up a tag team would at least last throughout the year, with huge build up and heat almost as big as the Main Event, especially if it's for a belt.

Hopefully, the WWF will start some good feuds now, with Austin-HHH, Rock-Jericho, Test-Edge, and a few more midcarders.

Fortunately, I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug, uh, regimen to keep my mind, you know, uh, limber.

I didn't order the PPV, I forgot it wasn't on DirecTV. I didn't register at WWF.Com in time. I don't know if it was any good but judging from what I have heard, I'm glad I didn't order it. Why didn't Austin jump? I thought he would, he'll probably get re-instated cause hes the champ. Woooo hooo Flair is coming back. Can't wait for RAW tonight!
