From wrestlingobserver.com's Bryan Alvarez:

Both Jerry Lawler and Ric Flair are expected backstage at the Charlotte Coliseum tonight, although that doesn't necessarily mean either will appear on TV tonight. Flair is already there. The WWF has a major storyline planned for Flair if he's able to secure a buyout by this afternoon and appear on the show tonight, part of which would include the return of some of the guys that were "fired" yesterday. Lawler, if he returns, would work commentary alongside Jim Ross. The backup plan is to go with Ross and Michael Cole as the new announcing team. Triple H was backstage last night and there was discussion of having him hit Steve Austin with the belt instead of Kurt Angle, but obviously those plans were scrapped. I would expect some big changes tonight and the announcement of the main event for the Vengeance PPV, since that show is only three weeks away.

* Only matches we know of for the show tonight are Lita vs. Trish for the Women's Title and Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Test stemming from last night's battle royal angle.

* As of today, we're not sure what's going to happen with the house shows this coming weekend, since the company still has to do split-crew shows with guys who were "fired" after Survivor Series. Wrestlers who were part of the Alliance are under the impression that they're working this weekend.

This is cool news. I guess his healing is going very well. The last time he said anything about it (that I know of) was on the Weakest Link, when he started complaining about having to stand at that podium for so long - and that was taped recently. The pops would've been HUGE if he came running down the ramp though!

I don't know what I'm more excitied about - Flair possibly showing up, or the King returning to ringside.

I would have actually liked the Alliance to win. Would have been better. Many guys that haven't been heel for a while could have jumped (Jericho, Rock). HHH should have been involved. It was nicknamed the most important PPV ever. HHH should have had an affect. But the WWF couldnt convince him or he just didnt want to.

As anyone who watched the show saw, Flair is now Vinnie Mac's "business partner"

Maybe this is what's needed to bring the WWF out of it's rut...

That's right, that's what I said....

I remember that statement by HHH too...but he was saying his back was bothering him from standing so long, which is why he voted out regal (i think it was regal anyway) cause he knew the pain he was in...all those back bumps have got to take their toll on the body, and standing for extended periods can't be good...

After seeing Stone Cold limp his way around before he was ready to come back, I'm more than happy to wait for HHH to be at 100% beforee his comeback.

It was a great RAW, the new HHH is commercial is kick ass. So is Austin a face or what? HHH will be face when he comes back we can be sure for at least a while. And he wants to kick Austin's ass, so would they make 2 face's fighting?
