It has been verified by other very credible sources like 1wrestling.com and Dave Metzler, and Vince and Linda both hinted at it, not only during press conferences but also in seperate interviews, so I'd imagine there's a very good shot of this happening, if not on January 7th then maybe soon after that, but it looks very likely according to most that it will happen on that date. | Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | The latest info on this: The latest word on the potential split of the WWF into two divisions is that no one is sure when it will happen anymore. While it still could be the rumored January 7th date, it could be moved completely. Things seem very up in the air right now. Credit: 1wrestling.com Personally, while I love the idea, the more time goes on, the more I think it should happen after Wrestlemania, doing it in less than a month would need such a contrived quick storylinre at this point, it doesn't make sense, and besides, most new storylines are supposed to begin right after Wrestlemania, and a split would complicate Wrestlemania anyway, so I say hold off til April. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | I loved the idea of having a whole seperate show. Following two different companies would be nice again, but I guess this divisions thing won't be so bad. Is the WWF trying to make the World Title more important than the WWF Title because I have noticed they latched the World Title onto the WWF Title, Now we will see all the champions carrying one great championship belt and one ugly one... | ||||
