| Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01  | Well, I decided to lift my personal boycott of WWF programming for one night, since I'm personally boycotting the Rose Bowl due to the BCS stupidity. Anyway, what a show!! Some thoughts: I think HHH is returning on Monday. I could have sworn they mentioned it somewhere. I'm glad they made it clear that Jericho would lose the title before the Royal Rumble. I, for one, wouldn't want to be surprised anyway. Remember those olden days when a match didn't start until all participants made their way to ringside? Or when the referee paid attention to who the legal man is in a tag match? I'm glad those days are over. The ending of that opening tag match was just so smooth and well done, I'd be remiss if I didn't at least comment on it. I just can't get enough of Stacy Keibler's ass. Sure, there's unlimited porn on the net, but who needs it when I can spank my junk to a wrestling show? Michael Cole is still the best wrestling announcer ever. He calls the action so well, and knows the name of every hold. We could all learn something from Michael Cole. More beautiful WWF DIVAS, Jazz and Lillian. I'm glad Jazz got her job back after all Alliance members were supposed to be fired. It would have sucked if they stuck with the storyline. Vince McMahon is a genius and should be Man of the Year. When the president of a publically traded company threatens to deprive customers of the product they paid for, even in jest, you know business is being run properly. Damn, Bossman was just brutal in hitting Austin with the mic. Don't kill the man, Ray! In four days, when HHH returns (I think that's what she said), Stephanie McMahon will return to a position of power. Can't wait! I like how in the WWF, only bad guys give presents. Jericho must be learning from Austin. Big Show vs. Undertaker was a great match. That Undertaker is a great technical wrestler, it's good that he can do a Dragon Sleeper, because those Japanese guys Ultimo Dragon and Tatsumi Fujinami could never do it right, cause they're Japanese and they're small. I must have missed Michael Cole, Wrestling Announcer calling the move though, I guess I wasn't paying enough attention. I should watch more WWF, I really should, because Gay Tag Teams = Ratings! Another sign that business is doing well: your champion gets about 3 offensive moves in during a tag match, and then wins by getting a fluke pin on a midcarder. Weak heels = strong faces! Ric Flair did the right thing. When someone who is no longer employed by the company crashes the show, verbally runs you down, and slaps you in the face, you really shouldn't react. Just let it be. Also good that Test beat Tajiri, Cruiserweight Champion. Cause Test is BIG, and Tajiri's small, and I needed to be reminded that BIG is better than small in wrestling. Announcers singing Barry Manilow songs = ratings! That reminds me, whatever happened to Alfonso Ribiero? I missed hearing Rock talk about his private parts. I wonder, if nobody runs in in a WWF main event, will the match just go on forever? Again, thank you Michael Cole, Wrestling Announcer for pointing out that the Bookend is just a cheap ripoff of the Rock Bottom. I never would have figured that out on my own. So Austin and Rock are laid out in the middle of the ring to end the show, but I shouldn't worry, because HHH is returning on Monday (I think). All in all: BEST SHOW EVER!!! And with HHH returning, it should only get better, and if he brings a friend along, it will be the BESTEST!!!11!1! | ||||

Actually, Smackdown was pretty good and you'd have to be an idiot to not think the vast majority of the wrestling fans can't wait for HHH to come back. Yeah, the hype was a little overboard, but gee, what did you expect? Not everyone watches all two hours, so they have to continually do it. The fact of the matter is, yeah, it wasn't a perfect show, but it was a good show. I liked the heel beatdown, it was longish, but it's been awhile since Austin has gotten the shit beaten out of him, so it's fresh and it gets Booker over. The Flair-Steph promo was good or at least funny, especially when Flair had his "I'm drunk and so I'm gonna do wrestling moves on the mat" epileptic seisure of the week. The tag match with Jericho and Angle was good, and it sets up a nice mini-feud maybe with Edge and Y2J. I love what they're doing with Jericho, too. Heel champs are SUPPOSED to be weak and cheat to win, baby! HHH's title reign was great a couple years ago, but I like this reign better, going back to basics, in the tradition of the Flairs and even the Savages (when he was IC Champ anyway)great heel champions. If they let Jericho beat the Rock AGAIN at the Rumble, by cheating, of course, then I think the Rock could be to Jericho's title reign what Foley was to HHH's. Maybe it's me, but I find the Gunn-Palumbo stuff pretty funny. As long as they don't go overboard, and keep it like they're the Ambiguously Gay Duo and everyone thinks their gay except of course, Gunn and Palumbo themselves. I did not like some things, the stuff with Jazz is lame, and she's too ugly to get over with the male sex craving crowd (of which I am proud to be a part of), and I didn't get the point of the Test-Tajiri crap, but all in all, I think it was a very good Smackdown which pumped up Raw, but made the Rumble seem like a must-see show as well. Infact, it's gotten good reviews all over the jaded internet crowd from everyone but you. But then, more and more, I think you're either trying to have a "gimmick" or you're just some bitter guy who has wanted to be a wrestler or something to do with wrestling all your life, and are now bitter. It seems just like what Opie said about the losers who run radio message boards and write radio columns. Get a grip, man. Not ALL wrestling that isn't from Japan sucks. Infact, from what I've heard, most Japanese wrestling sucks just as much if not worse lately. So, stop masturbating to Hayawanabanga Sumyungguy wrestling Hayagota Smalladicka while bashing every WWF thing you see, ok? It don't suck THAT much! Geez. And for the record, nobody gives a shit that you had a boycott of WWF programming, oh mighty one. Would you care if I came here and said I'm boycotting Fresh Prince reruns? You hate it so much, but you watch and you criticize. You really are like those morons that listen or watch something they hate just so they can have rants and criticize it. I only saw the first hour, I will watch the 2nd hour tonight, but I enjoyed seeing Stacy's panties (you might be geeeeeey if you don't). I liked the Vince interview with Austin. The Dudley, tazz and Spike match was pretty good. At least Tazz is starting to get something resembling a push. Test is getting a main event push, tajiri will be in the midcards and it really did nothing to hurt him. It helps Test. I enjoy Rock promos, most are very funny. Yes, they are pushing the HHH return. So what. What's better them shoving HHH down your throat or WCW back in the day on how great Glacier was going to be. Enjoy your stupid japanese wrestling because no one watches or gives a shit here. Smackdown was good and the quality of the product has gone up, especially since Survivor Series and the shitty Alliance angle ended. Sir O, however, bashes it every day of the week twice on Sunday and it is annoying only because I'm sick of him saying the same shit all the time. Unless he has something NEW to say, shut the fuck up. His whole slant of acting like he's better than all of us cuz he's seen two Japanese fags fight in an exploding duck sauce match (yeah wrong stereotype, fuck you, I didn't have any good Jap material, not that the duck sauce line was funny anyway) and somehow seeing that has shown him the light on how the WWF is awful and we're stupid for enjoying it along with his "booking 101" about how he personally can fix their woes, is the kind of attitude that pisses me off. And he can play this off as "I'm just getting heel heat," but I'd bet good money he cries in between games of Dungeons and Dragons when someone posts something negative about him. He is Phil Mushnick only more of a loser, cause he doesn't get PAID to be a bitter old man who obsesses about hating something so much. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO! | ||||

By watching it you are helping the rating which tells good ol Vinnie Mac that he is doing the right thing. I personally am enjoying the recent programs that the WWF is putting out. Ever since the Survivor Series things have taken an uphill swing. I agree with bashing what is bad, but bashing what is a step in the right direction is bad. I don't know how you can tell me that what we have now is of any comparison to about spring/summer time of this year. Prime example... RTC, the worst gimmick ever. You really want that kind of crap shoved down our throats again? Basically like I said.. if you don't like it don't watch it. I personally come here most times to read and post about news in wrestling and to discuss what is good about it...not bash it all the time.
