First off, since there is two threads on this, I decided so as to not pick one over the other, I'd start a new thread. But this is from wrestlingobserver.com's Dave Metzler and he is much more credible than 1billionpopups.com who started this rumor, and it really does look official:

quote:

Word got around the locker room that Vince McMahon told the production people at the meeting that Hogan, Hall and Nash are all in. The morale was really bad upon hearing the news. A lot of sentiment about the feeling that the guys there are being slapped in the face by this one. Most of the front office was strongly against the move. This is certainly not going to be a year short for news.

I side with the employees myself. Ugh. Awful. They BETTER keep these three away from the ring at all costs! Just cut a few promos and go home. It's the only way it will work.

i'll guarantee you that the reason morale was down was because of what they did in the old WCW. But everyone knows that the old WCW was a 2 bit company that had no direction. So, Nash, Hall, Hogan, and others tried to carry the fed on their shoulders despite having no real leadership in the front office. Now, there is Vince McMahon, and he is the king. He will keep the three amigos in check, and make sure nothing gets done besides wrestling business. Plus, Flair is there already and he is doing fine (noone remembers his lawsuit with Bischoff, that disturbed WCW for a while). Flair is fine, so i expect these 3 to be fine too. If the staff dont like it, tough, because the fans will react huge to it, and once they realize that, they will start to like having those 3 there.

There is a hierarchy in the WWF, and they all are probably the hardest workers in the entire business. You have Vince, Ric Flair, Stone Cold, HHH, the Rock and the Undertaker who have big a say in what goes on.

There is no way, those 3 will come in and make trouble like they did in WCW. WCW was a joke and the inmates ran the asylum. Yes, they were brought into spice up ratings, but if they fuck up or start to destroy the lockerroom, you can guarnatte they are gone.

Just thought i would post this, very interesting that Nash took less money going to the WWF than the WWA. Looks like he is for real when he wants to come back and be an attribute to the wrestling industry.

Notes On Kevin Nash's WWF Contract Money
Posted By Ashish on 01.14.02

It appears that the downside guarantee of Kevin Nash's latest WWF contract is LESS than what the WWA offered him. Nash apparently picked the WWF over the WWA due to having more confidence in the WWF over the WWA.

Meanwhile it is looking more and more like Nash, along with Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan, are headed back to the WWF. Stay tuned to 411 for the latest....

Cluster, he knows the WWF will still be around in a year. He gets to be on tv all the time and be in the limelight. His merchandise will be heavily promoted. He is with his friends , HHH Xpac, Scott Hall.

Lawler took less money to go WWF instead of XWF too.

I don't know, I mean yeah, its gonna bring in the ratings, but how much more Hogan can a person swallow? Nash & Hall? Ehhh, I was never a big fan of either to tell the truth. If anything, I hope this is a very short-lived event, but somehow I get the feeling its not (assuming at all that its even true).

All I have to say is just remember how hot the NWO first started out as.Then they threw in the whole Red and Black vs the Wwhite and Black...and thats when it really started to suck.Just hope Vince realizes that these guys havent carried a match in a long time and to know how to use them and when to end their storylines. And if they bring their ego's with em...FUCK EM! Thats mostly what killed the WCW! The WWF is doing them a favor by letting those 3 back in the public view.WWF has much guys younger and more talented with no egos.Plus they have guys already esablished in the fed as main eventers.Like I said....if they cant handle that....FUCK EM!!!!!

Looks like they might bring ANOTHER ego with them! This is from PWTorch.com:

The latest on Shawn Michaels is that he could be involved in the NWO/Kliq angle that the WWF seems to have planned for Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Hulk Hogan. Talk has been making the rounds backstage in the WWF that HBK will be back as an active wrestler soon.

All they need now is Scott Steiner and convince Bret hart to come back.

I heard that the main event of Wrestlemania will be HHH vs Stone Cold with a co-main event of Rock vs Hulk Hogan.

Bret Hart coming back, huh? Well, except for the fact that he can't wrestle anymore due to head iunjuries, I think there is a better chance of Osama bin Laden being named to Bush's Cabinet. Unless you ask 1wrestling.com who broke that great, true story this summer that is.

I heard a rumor that Rocky would face Sting at WrestleMania, as for Nash, Hall & Hogan. Well, I would have been more happy if they kept Hogan outta this. Nash and Hall are okay, and at the begining they will seem like good wrestlers and will be launching ratings but eventually they will give crappy matches and will be boring again. I don't see anything wrong with Michaels, if he came back I would love it, I always loved his matches, HBK!

The match may suck skitch, but the promos Rock would cut on Hogan would be instant classics. And you know Hogan would not win either.
