Just another cog in the WWF's wheel. Will be good to see him back, hopefully he has developed a personality too :). Im looking forward to his matches with Angle and HHH, etc.

Ah, The Crippler Crossface. Third best submission moves ever (behind the ankle lock and figure four). Splendid.....

Shane Falco in The Replacement on the last play of the game: "I wish I could say something classy and inspirational, but that just wouldn't be our style. Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory... lasts forever."

Benoit was having a huge push before the injury. I bet if his injury never happened, he would have won the WWF Championship before Y2J. I hope he can fit into a match at Wrestlemania...

i think that if he is back and healthy, he will have a good match set up for wrestlemania...maybe not right back into the main event mix, but just under it...perhaps an angle/benoit match, 2 out of 3 falls?

I doubt it, while Benoit is better than Jericho techniaclly, Jericho always had the personality edge in a landslide. As popular as Y2J is, it still took him this long for the WWF to make him the champ, so I don't think they would have found time for Beoit to hold the belt. Of course, this is all speculation.

i dont know about that, it seemed the wwf wanted a wrestler who won the crowd over with pure wrestling ability and without the mic. since he came to the wwf they always gave him the edge over wrestlers such as kurt angle and jericho in all of the matches they had together. i think the wwf wanted to shy away from who had the better catch phrase and move into actually wrestling, especially since the fans reacted so well to it. benoit was fighting the rock and stone cold in submission matches while he was a heel and he won. rock was quoted as saying, "yes, the crippler crossface hurts like hell..". benoit was hhh's partner in crime for a while, and did a good job at it. benoit made a name for himself by wrestling, and i think the wwf has given him much respect for that. he won the wwf championship unofficially twice, and was called the most fightingness intercontinental champion of all time
