| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | It would be interesting to see him there for a little while, especially if this split happens, the WWF will then need more wrestlers. Persoanlly, id rather have Mr. Perfect stay around for a while, but that is not possible right now. BTW, FTL, i aint gonna try to prove to you that i am knowledgeable about wrestling. It isnt worth my time to please someone like you. I am all for a good argument, as long as something gets fucking accomplished. Goldust Cuts Interesting Promo Following Rumble Posted By Ashish on 01.21.02 Satellite feeds fed to bars for the WWF PPV featured a promo from Goldust following the end of the Royal Rumble. In the promo, Goldust said he had his eyes set on getting revenge on someone from his past, and that the person knew who he was. That sucked, i wanted to see SCSA take a Shattered Dreams for getting "WHat!?!?" so damned over. I wouldn't mind either Hennig or Goldust sticking around but with the way WWF seems to have it in for me, they'll both go and the Godfather will stay, i enjoy the ladies, but he is one untalented wrestler. | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 01 | The latest rumors going out now are that both Dustin and Henning will be offered deals with the WWF. I'm kind of torn about this. On the one hand, I do miss Henning, and I actually think he still has something to offer (the man can still go in the ring, and if nothing else, they can use him to teach / put over the younger talent). But I'm not that big on bringing back Dustin, and there's also the consideration that bringing both men back just may further push back the guys in the midcard. There's rumored to be dissention in the locker room because of the push both men received in the Rumble last night. I suppose this will all even out - IF they actually split promotions. Hopefully this plants seeds for a rivalry. BTW, the only guy i can think of that Goldust is talking about is Austin, of course when Austin kicked his ass back in his diaper wearing days. Also, Vince is probably talking about being the leader of the "new" NWO. Either that, or the return of Eric Bischoff, who has had issues with Flair in the past. Too bad they wound up having about 10 more Falls Count Anywhere matches after that which made it get stale, but Bischoff going through the table was classic. I used to love when the nWo would come into the broadcast booth and slap Eric around, and Scott hall would call him "Ken Doll". Ahhhh the 96 days, where have those days gone? | ||||
